As parents we love to see our kids meet and then exceed milestones but this also means they are just a step closer into growing up and becoming independent. We're proud of all they've accomplished but sad to see them leave the nest. In this episode, you also get to hear it from the horses mouth...the kids!

There's a time to step up to the plate and take a swing. And there's a time to walk it out. Decide wisely and seek Godly counsel. You can't go wrong.

Each parenting experience is unique because each of our children our. Basque in the moment and don't worry about what could go wrong. Just enjoy it. Comparing will only bring you anxious thoughts.

Reach out to the people that love you for a place where you feel safe enough to share your feelings. Break the chains so you can begin to feel the feeling of peace.

Before deciding THINK! PRAY! Then ACT! Being a parent doesn't guarantee perfect choices. But being a "good" parent guarantees being a better parent.

Never give up on yourself. If you do, you'll ultimately give up on your child(ren). Keep pushing through it all. And even if the end isn't what we expect our kids will STILL love us.

Communication is key! That's so cliche but absolutely true. Our kids need us to learn more than one way of communicating and sometimes our way isn't always the right way. Take a listen to hear my story on communcating.
