  • Ep. 18: What the Mom of an Epileptic Child Wants You to Know

Sarah Thompson lives every moment on high alert. Such is the reality of a parent raising a child with epilepsy. Her son Bryson was diagnosed as a drug-resistant epileptic six years ago, and despite suffering near daily seizures, his diagnosis has not defined him.

Ashley shares her personal experience with epilepsy and why she felt connected to the Thompson family from the moment she met Sarah.

In addition to raising Bryson and his three siblings, Sarah is also a second mom to an entire college football team. The wife of the Cal running backs coach, and the daughter of an NFL star offensive lineman, Sarah uncovers she and Lisa share many common threads.
