He was eventually promoted to the rank of master chief gunnery officer and transferred to the Death Star. Tenn was ecstatic about this at first; he was a staunch supporter of the Empire who reveled in the opportunity to wield such a powerful weapon. He did not expect it to actually be used against inhabited planets. He assumed that the Empire only built it as a fear tactic, which was partially true, but Grand Moff Tarkin believed that the greatest way to inspire fear was to make an example of Alderaan. As soon as Tenn fired the superlaser, he was wracked with guilt and suffered a mental breakdown. With the pull of a lever, he had wiped out two billion lives.

On September 27, 2018, she released her debut comedy act, titled "My First Comedy Special". James Gunn Is Making the Right Call by Making Death Permanent
DC Studios isn't just rebooting Superman, but an entire universe full of heroes. Therefore, a lot will need to become established early on to give audiences an idea of what's in store. The interconnectivity is one element DC Studios is borrowing from the MCU.Still, the DCU will feature some noticeable differences that will provide a new experience for viewers. Instead of starting with origin stories, the DCU will jump into a world of metahumans who have been around for 300 years. There won't be a slow build to bizarre comic book concepts either, since the MCU has done a lot of the heavy lifting for the general audience. Making death permanent is a rule the DCU will operate under, which will get audiences invested in the franchise long-term.

Lord of The Rings  1978 Cartoon

The Blu-ray is available for pre-order on Amazon for $22.49 and will be officially released on June 24. The reprint will also include an interview series with Bakshi in which he discusses the making of the film. Before this reprinting, the animated The Lord of the Rings was only available on Blu-ray via a region-free imported edition. The movie is also available on DVD in a remastered deluxe edition for only $5 on Amazon.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is getting tantalizingly close to production ahead of its planned release date of July 31, 2026. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton will helm the upcoming sequel, replacing Jon Watts, who worked on all three of the previous Spider-Man films. Brand New Day is set to kick off Tom Holland's second trilogy of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, opening a new chapter for his iteration of Peter Parker after the landmark events of No Way Home.Though Holland's fourth Spider-Man film is still early in its development, rumors are already spreading about what audiences should expect and who may appear therein. The latest reports for Spider-Man: Brand New Day suggest that the film will feature a packed cast, including at least three major villains from the comics. While fans may shudder at the idea of Brand New Day being an overstuffed mess like The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or Spider-Man 3, I think there is a common denominator between these characters that hints at the upcoming film's intriguing story.Anyone who has been paying attention to the recent rumors and reports about Spider-Man: Brand New Day knows that the film is expected to include an overabundance of Spider-Man villains. While there has been no official confirmation of which antagonists will appear in the movie, various insiders have reported that characters like Scorpion, Tombstone, Mister Negative, Black Cat, and Tarantula could all show up to battle Spider-Man in his next cinematic outing. Surprisingly, Hank had taken up a job in Saudia Arabia, taking him away from Arlen for many years before his eventual return to his old home. Meanwhile, Bobby is now working as a professional chef, a nod to how the original show explored the character's passion and talent for cooking.

Stranger Things
After a long wait in between seasons, fans finally get a glimpse at what's to come, and the stakes have never been higher. The Last of US
Despite Season 1's popularity, HBO did not prepare for a quick turnaround for Season 3. The season was confirmed on April 9, 2025, just four days before the sophomore season's April 13 release date, but that early renewal still left little time for the writing and filming process. Production has not yet begun for Season 3, as the seasons were not filmed back-to-back, despite their initial success. The initial expectation was that filming would begin in the summer; however, it will likely be a lengthy production process, and there will be ample post-production work to ensure that the visual effects are of the highest quality. If the schedule follows the same path as season 2, it will be years before Abby and Ellie return to the small screen. Season 2 was announced on January 27, 2023, and production began on February 12, 2024. The year-long delay was substantial, but it was largely due to the industry-wide SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes of 2023. Still, even after filming began in earnest, it took months to conclude, as production only officially ended in August. If Season 3 follows a similar path, filming would not end until December 2025 or early 2026, and that is only if the cast arrives on set in Summer 2025. Isabela Merced (Dina) told Variety that the season may not begin production until 2026. Given that new piece of information, The Last of Us Season 3 is unlikely to debut until late 2026 or even 2027.

Walt always hated Goofy and he would’ve deep-sixed Goofy a long time ago if the studio didn’t need to make those movies to give ‘make work’ to so many of the animators. Boy, he hated Goofy.Keeping this in mind, it's easy to suggest that Walt Disney felt that Goofy was bringing down the tone of the studio. While his stupidity was entertaining to young audiences, it didn't highlight the real work that was going on in the company. But as the company continued to expand and hire more animators, it seemed that Walt needed to give them something to do while their superiors were working on the money-making projects. Overall, while fans will never truly know how Walt Disney felt about Goofy, Gaber's claims about the character offering "make-work" do fit the narrative.

He saw a casting notice in the newspaper for a community theatre production of Annie. They were both cast - Katie as Molly and her dad in the ensemble.
For Disney, she has been the main voice of Snow White since 2011. She first voiced her in Kinect: Disneyland Adventures and then in the Sofia the First episode "The Enchanted Feast".
