When we’re younger, the load we carry is light and virtually care free. But as we get older, the load gets heavier and heavier. We all carry an invisible “backpack of our past”. It contains your biggest regrets, greatest mistakes and all of the shame that you hide. Deep down, if you’re honest, you believe that your past defines you. Your past disqualifies you and determines your worth. You will never be more than your greatest mistake. How can you possibly be loved or worth loving? The feeling or voice in your life that is telling you this, isn’t God’s voice. His voice is incapable of telling you these things. He IS telling you, you do not need to carry around this weight forever. Your past does not have to have power in your present. Speaker: Amanda Beggs
