 How do you respond when people accuse you of being narrow-minded on the issue of salvation through Jesus Christ alone? Is your focus more on people’s negative responses or on your concern for the lost condition of that person and your responsibility to declare the truth of God? 

When was the last time you felt vulnerable to temptation? Do you have a particular weakness that makes you more susceptible to these enticements? We must learn how to battle the evil one from a position of victory in Jesus Christ and His finished work at the Cross.

What is the condition of your heart today? One way to determine this is to examine the path you are taking. Are you drawing closer to God or running away from Him? Have you ever been reluctant to return to the Lord after a season of wandering because you were embarrassed, ashamed, or feared that you had made too big a mess of your life? You can come home today. The choice is yours. 

Have you ever felt like something is missing in your life? If so, what do you think is causing this void inside? If you ran to Jesus with this need, what would He tell you to do? Are you willing to let go of whatever He says to relinquish? Is there anything causing you to resist following Christ fully? Do things tend to own you rather than you owning them?

Faith is for everyday life! It’s not only to effect miraculous healing or financial deliverance. Although those things are important, it is your relationships with people that will place the greatest demand on your faith. It takes faith to love, forgive, and to interact with people daily. You have already been given the measure of faith. It’s up to you to now use it!

Our focus as believers should be on preaching the Gospel and teaching the Word of God to all people. Sadly, there are churches and denominations today spending big money to send thousands of Christians on so-called, “mission trips” around the world with instructions NOT to preach the Gospel. It's true! If they put the same amount of money and effort into actually preaching the Gospel and teaching the truth of the Word in those nations, they’d see infinitely greater results.

In man's fallen state, we focus upon the bad things happening in the world today. We're conditioned by society. Bad news makes headlines. Life, to be sure, is not fair, but what does God have to say about our outlook on the things around us?  

There are demonic beings operating in the world today. They run amok on this planet because people have empowered them by believing and yielding to their lies. The way to change this situation isn’t by dealing directly with demons in prayer. Their power is cut off when people believe the Truth of The Gospel. As individuals, families, and communities come out of deception, the powers of darkness are weakened and broken.
