 The world does its best to drag us away from the Lord. It can’t steal our salvation, but it can batter and deceive us and tempt us to let go of our anchor. That’s why we must always be diligent to hold fast to God’s Word. 

The USA has one of the highest divorce rates in the world. In fact, people work much harder in the preparations of getting married, than on staying married. God has a lot to say about weathering marital storms. We would do well to obey our all-wise Heavenly Father and fight for our marriages.

In man’s fallen state, we tend to focus upon the bad things happening in the world today. We’re conditioned by society. Bad news makes headlines. Life, to be sure, is not fair, but what does God have to say about our outlook on the things around us?

When we believe, speak, and obey what the Lord says in His Word, our faith grows stronger; but when we let our feelings and circumstances override our confidence in Him and His promises, our faith begins to waver.

Let’s talk about what the Gospel actually is, and what it isn’t as we dig into the Word of God, the final authority in the matter.

 The Bible says that the only begotten Son of God suffered to the point to where He didn’t even resemble a man. It’s because God knew that by putting all your sin upon Jesus that He would break Satan’s dominion and set the entire human race free. All you need to do is say “yes” to Him.

We must put our faith in “Jesus Christ and Him crucified.” God’s wrath upon sin was appeased at the cross of Calvary for all who will receive, and He has given unto us, His children, the ministry of reconciliation!

Today’s podcast looks specifically at two things that have to do with our perspective on the spiritual realm, the angelic host: the basic concept of angels and our relationship to them.

THE PIVOTAL MOMENT IN HISTORY If you asked anyone to identify THE supreme moment in history, they’d all have different answers. However, from God’s point of view, that moment was the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. As humans, we can’t comprehend all that happened at the cross, but God has given us deeper understanding of what transpired in His Word.
