Welcome back to the show tonight.  Last week we started a series on signs of the end times.  Tonight is part two of that series.  If you missed part 1.  You can go to the, "Your-Place" show page, and listen from the archives. Welcome back to tonight's show.  Last week Bill had a medical procedure and the week before there was something wrong with blogtalk and nobody could call in.  We pray this problem is fixed this week. Third time is the charm, right!  You may hear some things you do not agree with 100%.  We are going to a bible study from a preacher on, "looking for signs of the end of time."  I do not agree with everything this preacher teaches.  Well, let us rephrase that.  He teaches most things exactly as I believe the bible presents it.  But then, he calls it something totally opposite of what he just taught at the end of the lesson sometimes.  Many preachers do that to dissasociate themselves from the apostolic doctrine.   This preacher's style of speaking makes you feel you are at the feet of your grandpa or dad.  As always, at the end of the show,  Just push the number 1 on your phone to make a comment or ask a question.

Welcome to, “Your Place”! We want to thank everybody for all of the kind words on last weeks show. We also want to apologize for how there was a part of the show that for some reason broke up in places. We started to bring you the sermon that went with that bible study on foundational thinking this week. Instead, we are going to bring you a bible study the next three weeks on the book of Proverbs. Bill's mom (Sis. Bobbie Lively, Rapping Granny, Blogtalk mom) has been sharing how her church was in a study of the book of Proverbs. Tonight we are bringing you a study of Proverbs.  The teacher is a college professor that has studied all kinds of ancient writings based on the thought process and lives of people during the time period of scripture being written. He has conducted study on the geography of the places in these writings and even went to these places to develop first hand knowledge.  Teaching scriptures as a college class and not as a bible study or sermon at a church. He does not feel the need to try to push the doctrine of any religious organization. On top of this he stands out above most school teachers that teach scripture. He believes that the bible is not just a great literary work to be studied to its writing style as with other historical books he mentions. He believes that the bible is the inspired word of GOD. Bill Creasy's teaching style has been a blessing to us and we know it will bless you too.  With that being said. You may find some of the things he has to say offensive to your thought process, and we do not always agree with everything that he has to say. But I promise that you will always gain something from listening to his teachings. His lessons on Paul that you can find in our archives changed a lot of our understanding of Paul as a man!   As always you have the opportunity to ask a question or make a comment at the end of the show.

Welcome to the first. “Your Place Show" of 2024”. Did the opening song stir something inside of you? Can you take a moment and shout hallelujah? Come on and say it with me from your heart, Hallelujah!!!  Jesus is worthy of our praise in 2024!  I don't know about you. But the last few years have seemed like there has been a lot of darkness in the world.  There seems to be more evil being called good, and more fears of things and people in power.  We have witnessed covid and the effects this disease had on our nation. Gone are the days of being able to go to Walmart any hour of the night and get something that you have a hankering for. Nobody can explain why restaurants, manufacturing of some products, and many businesses are suffering and closing down due to lack of help. In a day where we can witnessed things almost as they are happening why are we not hearing real experts tellling us what is really going on?  We only hear what the people in power want us to hear.  But is this GOD's plan?  The war in Israel is even being slanted in the news.  There is a roaring voice in the media speaking against the people of Israel for defending themselves.  It is now 2024, Right? What happened to how we used to say it? The year of our Lord 2024? Did you know all of the years were the year of our Lord? If you did not like your president.  It's still God that sits leaders on thrones and takes them down!  Think on how we process and think about things.  Ready to think outside of the box with Wild Bill?  GOD still inhabits the praise of HIS people.
