  • Restoration Of Pentecost by Mark Morgan
Almost every christian religion acknowledges Pentecost Sunday.  Most are aware of what took place in the book of ACTs in your bible. Some ignore it as saying this is more religion than what I want to have and think they can just skip that part.  Then there are others that have a form of the Day of Pentecost experience.  Then there are others that embrace this as a needed part of the salvation relationship.  One thing for sure tonight you will hear some thoughts on this that will blow you away.  You may not agree with his speaking style, but there is power in what you are going to hear tonight.  Wild Bill loves to hear the older ministers preach.  The big reason is that many do not feel that need to filter when making a point.     Wild Bill will tell you that one of the great things he enjoys about getting older is your filter wears out with everything else.  Just to be yourself is such freedom!  It is also very annoying sometimes to those around you.  I am sure our pastor is praying for Bill to get some of his youth back so that he will filter a little more.  If you have never heard Bro. Morgan you are in for an in your face sermon.   This sermon was part of a revival last week called the Restoration of Pentecost that was hosted by the Pentecostal Church in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.  There were some issues with the recording where the volume goes up and down.  That is part of trying to record a live service.  Just be ready to adjust the volume on your phone if you are listening live.

  • A time to reflect on our show!
We had a family event that has made it impossible to do a show this week. Instead we ask that you check out our archives and see if there is not a topic you find interest in.  Who knows you may be the person that brings that topic back to the show again! God Bless

  • From the Authors of "Threads of Time" a Christian Romance
Welcome to a very special show tonight.  You may remember at Christmas the songs we played on our show that was performed by the Franklin family.  Wild Bill works with Keith and found out that they do not just have musical talent, Keith's wife has written songs, and is a budding author in the family!  The release of "THREADS OF TIME" moved up the charts with Amazon faster then Bill can eat hot pancakes!  Christian romance is a topic that is pretty foreign to Bill.  You could say that romance in general is a foreign topic for him!  That did not stop us from asking the authors to be a part of our show.  What do we mean by authors.  "Threads of Time" is a collection of seven Christian romantic novellas, about a very special quilt passing through time.  This quilt was intended to grace the marriage bed of a young couple, but never fulfilling its original purpose.  It travels through many hands and decades, lending comfort to its temporary owners before being passed on. A "Thimbleful of Peace" is by Constance Shilling Stevens, "Tattered Hopes" is by Ralph Vogel, "A Night With No Stars" is by J. Michele Franklin (Keith's wife), "Mending the Widow’s Heart" is by Marjorie Vawter,  "A Thread of Hope" is by Darlene A. Dodds,  "Frayed" is by Eileen Key, "A Patchwork Promise" is by K. Marie Libel.  You can download this book on Amazon, and I think there is a hard copy release coming out due to the success of this book already.  These writers worked under the support of Kim Vogel Sawyer, which is well known and loved for her books.  We probably will not have time tonight, but we will get them back to talk about their new publishing company.

  • A time to remember our heritage for Memorial Day
We have a sermon on our spiritual heritage to share tonight. First, we want to remember a select group of brave young men and women.  Those that gave all with their full measure of devotion to serve their country.  This is not a time to remember those that came back from our military conflicts.  But, I have to admitt that I do.  This is not a time to rejoice in the victory of battles won.  But I am sure that for some they will.  In my minds eye I can see those flag covered caskets of young men and women who died far from everything that they loved.  I can see the fathers with small children who lost their wife, the children who lost a parent, the parents who lost a child. I can see expectant mothers that lost a husband, and the surviving solders that lost a friend and comrad in arms.  We, as a people, have the tendancy to feel emotion, and then forget as life goes on.  I am thankful that our leaders set aside a day to give honor, and cause us to reflect on the cost that is paid for our freedoms.  It was not free and not cheap! For many, the nightmare of having to become both mother and father to their children's everyday life. I cannot imagine how a parent can work through the loss of their child so far away from them.  How do the solders that returned deal with the survivors guilt and face the family of those that returned?  I cannot even imagine how you deal with the brutality and swiftness of the loss.  Tonight, we give honor to those that paid the cost of our freedom with their life.   How do we give honor to them; remember their sacrifice and reach out to those that were impacted the most by their loss.  We are going to start the show with a song, and while it's playing I ask that you join me in a prayer for these families. Where are limited in ourselves, but GOD is not!

  • A time of reflection, and honor to our mom's!
Welcome to another show!  We feel so blessed to be a part of your life each week as we look at current events, politics, sermons, bible teachings, and life in general.  As you know this past Sunday was Mother's Day!  We wanted to give all of you a chance to give honor to your mom.  Maybe you have a cute story about your mother, or just want to say thanks for all the wonderful things she's done.  The great thing about blog talk radio is that you can download these shows and keep them for grandchildren or even great grandchildren!  The importance of understanding heritage and our legacy is something that we should never take for granted.  So tonight as we share our thoughts, it's just as important to us to allow you to share what is on your heart tonight!

  • Alook at the apostolic doctrine.
We want to thank all of you for once again taking time to listen to our show. There is a lot of confusion over what the apostolic doctrine is.  We have heard people say that they follow the words of Jesus and not that of the apostles like the apostles were in error.  If that were true then why is most of the new testiment made up of what the apostles had to say after the death of Jesus?  We found a message of a preacher that has been preaching this doctrine for many years to share with you why people who follow the apostolic doctrine try so hard to get others to hear it.  As always we look forward to your comments or questions regarding this show.

  • Part Two This Week From The Sanctuary of Nolensville With Pastor Lee Stephens
We had a ton of positive feedback from last week's message brought to you from a live church service @ The Sanctuary of Nolensville. So we decided to bring you this week's sermon after hearing the pastor sharing this as a followup from last weeks message.   I want to make it clear that the worship is not about perfect sound.  That is why we brought to you some of the worship songs from this service.  There was a deep move of  GOD's Spirit during this song service that we pray will be felt by all that hears this service where ever you are.  But we don't want it to stop there as Jesus is reaching out to all those that will come to HIM.  It is HIS desire to change your life, and it is ours that this show works as a conduit of that work.   The title of the message is, "This Untoward Generation."

  • Easter Service With The Sanctuary of Nolensville! Pastore Lee Stephens
We want to thank all of you for being with us tonight at "Your Place"!  As many of you know, we are part of a young work that is located in Nolensville, TN.  We are very proud of our Pastor, Lee Stephens and the vision he has for this work.  If you are ever in this area you will want to come to a service.  You will find a family type atmosphere where everybody that visits is considered an invited guest...not a visitor.  If you have family or friends in this area that needs God, we would appreciate the opportunity to be a blessing to them.  God may speak to your heart to support this church with a financial offering and/or special prayer for this work.    Please excuse the sound quality as we try to bring this message to you.  At this time we don't have a person operating the sound board where we can record direct from the board.  Wild Bill used a digital recorder for this service, so you are getting audiance singing and noise just like you would get if you were part of the congregation.  That banging you hear during song service is Wild Bill on the drums.  What we have here is keyboard, drums, bass, and only five singers.  Sis. Stephens does a great job with the music as she plays the keyboard and sings, and sets up what everybody is supposed to do.  Wild Bill said his hands were sweating so bad the sticks kept slipping out of his hands this morning. Wild Bill has an excuse for everything!   The sound quality may not be the best but the message is one that we wanted to share. I know that you will be blessed!

  • It is that time of Year again to be religious? Easter Message For Today!
We want to thank you once again for allowing us to be a part of, "Your Place".  There are people who only go to church during holidays that mark events in history that is noticed by biblical scholars and christians as symbolic of their faith. There is no other period of time that is marked on our calanders where more biblical prophecy was fullfilled over a few short days  then Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter.  Many of you may blow the dust off of your video,"The Passion of the Christ" during this time.  Others don',t really want to take a look at the details of the price that was paid for your salvation.  Tonight we want to ask you a question that we have to ask ourselves at times.  Why would GOD love us so much to robe HIMSELF in flesh, live a simple life on this earth, and then allow his creation to kill HIM to take on our sin in the process?  If we can take the time to acknowlede that these things happened, then we have to ask ourselves another question;  Why does mankind find it so hard to stick with the straight and narrow of the Bible?  It is clear in the United States this is true.  We have thousands of church groups that find their own truth of the Bible. Over the years many of the so called Christian churches spend the majority of their time applying mans logic to their own belief.  The emphasis is more about finding the middle of the road so people can do what they want and claim to be a christian.  It's amazing how we can change definitions of words in the Bible to fit our lifestyle.  Several places we can read on what is required to be the bride of Jesus. But most church groups ignore those words.  That is why it is important to have a personal relationship with Jesus and surrender to HIS will.  We pray this message From Ken Gurley speaks to your heart to seek your own salvation from Hell!.

  • Do we know the characters in our life's story
Thank you once again for allowing us this time to join you at, Your Place. We really appreciate all of the feedback we have been getting from all of you.     GOD had been dealing with Bill with two messages during the week, and we believe it was not by chance that the pastor asked him Sunday morning to preach on Sunday night! For people who do not do a speaking ministry behind a pulpit, it is not like you would expect it to be.  There is more preperation required other than having a topic and a thought on how to present it.  Now this is the second time GOD had provided Bill with a message and with no warning was asked to preach when he had not done that extra preparation.  The natural man would want to blame the pastor for not providing more warning.  Right?  But if we really understand that GOD had already provided his part in giving him the message, the pastor obeyed GOD and provided the oppertunity to bring that message to the congregation.  Well, then who was really out of position?  Bill is a little bit of a slow learner ,but I think he got this lesson this time,  The topic of knowing the characters in your life story is a little different.   Like Wild Bill in his preaching situation, you have to really take a look at not just those around you, but take time to really look at yourself.  Bill is going to share some of those points with us tonight from his message. To help you paint a clear picture, we want to start you off with something that may give you a laugh on how we judge ourselves.
