  • Easter Message from Pastor Raymond Woodward
Welcome to tonights show.  Easter is always the holiday where there seems to be so much division.  I know that Easter came from what was a pagan holiday.  The church in Rome accepted these pagan holidays into their church.  The church of Rome approaced the Apostle Polycarp who was a follower of the apostle John.  He was also established as the Bishop of Smyrna by the apostle John.  The church of Rome wanted Polycarp to accept their holidays into his teaching of the new church.  To be specific, they wanted him to move the feast of passover to follow their new Easter celebration that fell on Sunday following the full moon of the spring equinox.  Polycarp informed them, that the passover would be celebrated on Nisan 15th no matter what day it fell on.  Which gets confusing because it is a one week long celebration. This year on our calander it would have started April 5th.  The church of Rome saw they could not control Polycarp and the final straw was when he refused to burn incense to honor the roman emporer and refused to denounce Jesus.  After allowing him to perform communion in their church.  The honor was meant to change his mind.  It did not! They burned him at the stake, and when he did not burn they pierced him with a spear and the blood put out the fire.  HIs last words were," I bless you father for judging me worthy of this hour. So, that in the company of mytars I may share the cup of Christ.  What is confusing it that Polycarp is listed as a saint among the catholic church.  Pastor Raymond Woodward is bringing us our Easter show this year from a live service.  We pray that it stirs you as it did us.  As always you are welcome to share a comment or ask a question at the end of the show.  Just push the number one on your phone and I will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when I place you on.

  • Between Bethlehem and Bethany
Welcome, As most of us know this last Sunday was Palm Sunday.  We have heard these messages it seems like hundreds of times.  In reality this is usually only preached one time a year.  We want to ask you to stop and take a moment to look into your own heart and see if you have started to place your replationship with GOD on autopilot.  Wild Bill recently in talking with old friends, was reminded of events that had been forgotten in their relationship.  Events that spoke to strong connection and were building blocks to relationships that never died. There has been gaps of time and long miles between us in our lives.  But when we got back together we would find that the strong bonds of friendship had not changed.  We have missed major events of each others life, and still the bond is still strong. The key is that we never did anything during times we would connect to break that bond.  We share this to remind all of us Jesus established a bond with us before we were even born!  He purchased us with his blood, by paying the price for us to overcome the curse of sin.  To complete this connection means a two way connection.  Real relationships cost you something. Tonight we are bringing you a sermon preached at a live service by pastor Kevin Allen Called, "From Bethelem to Bethany".  You could call it from start to finish.  We feel that this message is what we all need to hear at this time on looking at a healthy relationship with Jesus.  Time may have passed, and there may have been some distance in your relationship.  But the bond is still strong, Jesus is reaching out to you to make your relationship current and satan is doing all he can to steal, kill, and destroy this relationship.  You can't maintain a relationship with Jesus and the spirits of this world.   Look to the things eternal vs things for a season of life.   We welcome your comments.

  • A Time for Change by Kenneth Carpenter of FAC
Welcome, do you know what time it is? Its time to make up your mind to secure your salvation through being born again!  Time, something that is said that none of us can get back. Time, that stops for nobody.  Time, seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years that make up our life!  Through Jesus, your past can be forgiven, your life can be redeemed, and you can be born again a new creature in Jesus! We can't speak for everybody else.  But I hate when the time changes and you lose that hour of sleep.  But on the other side of the coin most of us like daylight savings time in the afternoon when it stays light later in the day.  What is great about time, today could be your time of salvation.  The choice is yours!  It is said that the more things change, the more they stay the same.  The bible speaks that there is nothing new under the sun.  But my favorite quote is that Jesus is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!  For mortal man, time will run out on our life.  The bible tells us that it is appointed once for man to die and after this the judgment.  Appointments of time that we all have to face.  But after this time of life when you are judged.  Will your verdict of eternity be, " well done my good and faithful servant," or "depart from me you worker of iniquity because I never knew you?" What will you do with the time you have left?  Tonight we are bringing you a message by Kenneth Carpenter called, "A Time For Change".  As always we welcome your comments and/or questions! Just push the number 1 on your phone and I will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when I place you on the air.

  • Praying The Impossible by Bishop Anthony Mangun
Welcome to the show this week. Tonight we are bringing you a message titled, "Praying for the Impossible".  It is from a live church service from POA Bishop Anthony Mangun.  This is the second week we have felt led to bring you a show based on prayer.  Wild Bill states all of the time that he first ask GOD to forgive him for unbelief, and then ask GOD to add to his faith.  It is so easy to get into the routine of doing GOD things, but we get away from applying these things in the power of faith, and expectation.  The key is, if you do not see your answer.  Then do not stop praying.  Be like the woman who worried the evil king until he gave to her request to shut her up.  The key is that we are not going to worry GOD into giving to us by praying without ceasing.  Instead the point to this story is to keep on being faithful in your prayers.  Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking!  In doing this,  the process helps you grow in your relationship with GOD.  Trust me have you ever seen a kid that they got everything they asked for?  Many of them were ruined for life when it came to time for them to take care of themselves. They got to stinking so bad that even their mom could not stand them anymore.  As GOD gives to us according to his purpose you will find that your thought process will change in your process.  You will find that GOD has to remold all of us to fix us from where the curse of sin has damaged us.  We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD.  Are we willing to allow GOD to change us into something useful for the kingdom?  Are we willing to allow GOD to order our steps! Our we willing to take GOD at his word in a living personal relationship with HIM?  If you answer yes, then know that GOD wants to allow miracles, signs and wonders to work in your church, your family, and your life.

  • Put God First by Pastor Kevin Allen
Matt 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Tonight we are bringing you a sermon called, "Put God First", by Pastor Kevin Allen.  Bill has been following this thought line for several weeks as we process several possible changes to our life.  As always we open up the microphones at the end of the show for comments or questions.

  • GOD of the Angel Armies by Pastor Raymond Woodward
Welcome to the show tonight.  Do you ever stop and think about all of the things you have wittnessed in this world that has changed in your life time?  Just to name a few of these that jump out to us.  They took prayer out of the public school system.  Abortion on demand was made legal!  Then we are told that it is no longer legal.  But abortions are still happening with little change actually taking place.  Marriage in this country is no longer between a man and a women only.  But far worse, we now have the definitions of things like mom, dad, man, and women up for debate.  We have seen churches ordered to close their doors, while other businesses that sold alcholic beverages were left open.  If you stand on the word of GOD in defining sin.  You are judged to hate people and could be classified as commiting a hate crime.  Law suits have been filed against businesses and churches for refusing to do things against their faith.  Look at all of the deaths where people died alone with Covid.  Covid has changed so many things to include not being able to fill jobs to keep businesses open.  We have seen an increase of violence on our streets, and nobody is safe.  The value of our dollar seems to be under attack.  Many food processing plants have been destroyed.  We have done away with all of the science of gateway addictions and have made marijuana legal.  Drug dealers who have always worked to hook people to use their products.  Now are killing them by adding compounds that are deadly for people searching for an escape through drugs.  The only thing that has not changed is GOD and we were warned of these signs of end time for over 2000 years.  Do you see GOD as to who the bible tells us that HE is! What is your relationship with HIM? Is it based on a hope and a feeling?  I hope that it is based on the total work of the bible!

  • The Balance between the Name and the Word by Pastor Raymond Woodward
Welcome to the show tonight.  We started the show with one of our favorite songs from Sis. Bobbie Lively.  When in doubt on something.  "What does the word say", is a good place to live as your motto.  We have a bible study from Pastor Raymond Woodward that we feel is something that is much needed for people to hear, and to gain much needed comprehension.  We are going to take a look at the Word and how it is to be applied and the Name and how it is to be applied.  Also at how GOD ranks these two in agreement to HIS plan.  Without a Godly balance of understanding.  Wild Bill has seen many young converts, and even people that should know better.  Become bitter because, they do not see things moving in the power of the Holy Ghost as they imagine that it should.  It is an easy thing to do and Wild Bill can share that he has fallen into this trap many times.  Anytime we have a root of bitterness starting to form.  Our first move should be to go to GOD in his word, prayer in HIS name, and speak faith to the situation! Faith has to be exercised and thigh master and whey protein is not going to help.  You have to go to GOD in prayer, eat of the word, speak faith to your situation in the name of Jesus and all in alignment together.  it's never going to work for us to treat Jesus like a atm of blessings or a genie in a lamp.  HE is the almighty GOD and we are not!  Sometimes our actions show where we forget who is in charge at times.  God holds himeself accountable to his word. Not us!  Never forget that!  As always, the microphones are open at the end of the show for coments or questions.  Just push the number 1 on your phone and I will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when I place you on the air.

  • Bishop T.F. Tenny The Power Of Pain
Welcome back to this weeks show. As the song states so well.  That in living for GOD this does not mean you will not have test, trials, be hurt, and can even find yourself feeling that you are all alone in your spiritual process. I do not as a rule have much input on the topics discussed each week.  But I found this message by Bishop T.F. Tenny, and felt that this should be the show for this week.  For sure he is a man of GOD that is respected even outside of the UPCI demonination.  His preaching and life has been an inspiration to many people for years.  The title of his message tonight was brought to you from a live church service.  The message is, "The Power of Pain".  We hope that this speaks to you as it does to us.  As always at the end of the show we open up the microphones for people to make a comment or ask a question.  We ask that you remember this is a family show.  All you have to do is push the number 1 on your phone at the end of the show and we will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when we place you on the air.

  • The Church by Anthony Mangun
Welcome to tonights show.  Last week Wild Bill gave us his thoughts at the end of the sermon that speaks to his thoughts to the church of the end time.  He felt that he had only grazed the surface of what he was feeling that the Holy Ghost is wanting the church of today to hear.  In preparing for this show he was not surprised when he was led to a sermon being preached by Anthony Mangun at the 2023 Because of the times services.  We are not sure what his title was but for sure it is a look at the church of the end of time.  We are amazed and feel blessed when GOD brings to us exactly what HE wants shared with his people.   The show started with an old song from 1969 that was written by Dottie Rambo.  The words of this song hopefully paint a picture of what the church at the end of time is supposed to be.  We hate to give it away but Bro. Mangun speaks of face time with the missionaries to the Ukrain.  Instead he has them there on the platform with him to testify to what God is doing in this war blitzed country.  Their faith in GOD has not wavered with war going on all around them.  Instead as you can hear their faith is very high as GOD is proving himself to them and the people of the Ukrain,  As always you can share your thoughts or comments at the end of this show.  Just push the number 1 on your phone and I will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when we place you on the air.

  • The Comforter Has Come by Raymond Woodward
Welcome to the show tonight.  We are bringing you what was preached as a Christmas message.  Guess we are a day late and a dollar short after all!  We promise that this sermon is one that you will enjoy if you were hearing it in July.  Pastor Raymond Woodward of Canada is one of the best teachers and preachers of our time.  That is our opinion here at Your Place.  This message is not just about something you may or may not have looked at in the history of the birth of Jesus.  But it ties into where we live today in a very anointed way.  It even speaks of our promised furture that we are all watching and praying for.  At the end of this show we open up the mics so that you can ask a question or make a comment.  All you have to do is push the number 1 on your phone and I will identify you by the last four digits of your phone number when I place you on the air.
