We're constantly getting messages around why our relationship needs to be fixed and perfected. Social media tells us to compare and 'test' the love that we have with our partner. And the self-help world says that there is always something to be worked on.

I know I've felt like it's never enough, there is always something "wrong" that needs us to work our butts off to fix.
