In this episode it is an absolute honor to bring you the story of Nancy Viera a Mexican American author living as a single mother in Colorado. The story begins with the birth of her novel The Grief and the Happiness, and beautifully, tragically, joyously, and painfully evolves into her present day story. We talk about loss, and how it rebuilt the woman, mother, daughter, sister, community activist and so much more she is today. In this episode I open up about my religious upbringing, and how my faith has evolved into a deeper connection through spirituality. I share my thoughts on guilt and shame within my religious upbringing, and ultimately invite in the extraction of love in anything we do.
