When bad goes to worse in our life where should we run? The place where there is acceptance, love, life, celebration, and welcome. This place is the Church of Jesus Christ! This place is home! Welcome Home!

There is a deep need in the heart of every person to belong to something. Although life provides many false ways to fill this need only one thing can. That is a relationship with Jesus Christ and joining yourself to His church.

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him both on this earth and in heaven. Learn about the rewards of “The Good Life” in our third and final installment of this message series.

Learn the importance of our relationship with God. Not only in just being saved. But our ongoing relationship with Him and how out of that relationship everything in our life is effected in a positive way.

We all want to live the good life. To receive the benefit and the reward of blessing, is more than just being good or doing good things. It is living a God life. A God life is something we can do right now, live right now, and enjoy right now.

The ending of the Lord’s prayer sets us up for victory and gives us a heart of praise. Victory is found in allowing God to lead us away from temptation while protecting us from the evil one. Our heart of praise is founded on acknowledging that God is king, powerful, and worthy of all glory.

Forgiveness is more than us just saying or feeling sorry. It is letting go of the debt and the resentment. When Jesus modeled how to pray, He showed us that we must ask for forgiveness as well as extend forgiveness to others. Take a deeper look in part three of For God’s Sake.

In the second part of this series, we discover the purpose behind praying “your kingdom, your will be done”. It is us agreeing with God for His purpose to come to pass both for us and for everyone on earth. For His kingdom to come, we must do our part on earth.

Jesus gave us a model to use for prayer. When He answered the disciples with the Lord’s prayer, He was saying their was an effective way to pray and an ineffective way. By its design, the Lord’s prayer teaches how God intended for us to connect with him.
