Friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between two or more people. Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association. Certain characteristics are present in many types of friendship. Such characteristics include affection, sympathy, empathy, honesty, altruism, mutual understanding and compassion, enjoyment of each other's company, trust, and the ability to be oneself, express one's feelings, and make mistakes without fear of judgment from the friend. The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray. Proverbs 12:26, NKJV Let’s talk about what makes a true friend!

As an intercessor, can you pray with the same amount of diligence for someone with whom you have little emotional investment as for someone that you love?  Intercessory praying is the highest order of prayer because it moves you out of the way and positions you as a vessel for GOD’s use! Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.  Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. James 5:13-14,NLT

Today’s strategy discusses boundaries in relationships. Do you have clearly defined or established limits and restrictions for your conduct with others? Have you helped others treat you with respect and dignity? When someone crosses the line with you, how do you handle it? Let’s strategize today about Self-kindness. Self-kindness involves self-care, self-compassion and soul care. It is loving yourself and having compassion on yourself. It is giving yourself a break particularly in instances of sadness, discouragement and dealing with feelings of failure. With Self-Kindness you will attend to your spirit, your body, and your mind. Self-kindness is different from self-pity because it takes responsibility for that with which self must contend. The beauty of self-kindness for those who love the LORD is we don’t wait until trouble comes. With godly wisdom we practice self-kindness daily.

GOD loves us so much that GOD is in covenant with us. A covenant is a sacred agreement between GOD and GOD’S people. In biblical times when covenants were instituted, they were sealed by the shedding of blood with an animal sacrifice. These covenant were conditional with requirements to be fulfilled on both parts. We can study in the Old Testament about the Noahic Covenant at Genesis 9, Abrahamic Covenant at Genesis12-17, Mosaic Covenant at Exodus 19 -24, and the Davidic Covenant at 2 Samuel 7.

Calling all prayer champions and the people that know how to get a prayer through! Can you see what is happening all around us?  People are angry, confused, disappointed, empty and in pain.  We encounter folks in everyday situations who are walking wounded.   People are in desperate need of major breakthroughs in their lives.  Somebody needs to pray today! “Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).” Ephesians 6:18 AMP
