Let's Examine A Few Steps To Creating A Unique Experience For WordPress

Eliminate items that will not be needed by your client based on specific needs. (by eliminating, this usually can be achieved by creating a custom dashboard experience.)

Rename menu items to specific things that will make sense to them based on their specific needs.

Create a unique area for your client to be able to easily make contact with you for support.

Reorder menu items to match the things they will use the most and place them at the top level. Don’t make your client have to search through the menu tree. (This is where a vast majority of people become frustrated.)

Create a unique user guide for your client that is specific to the things they will use the most. (There are a few plugins out there that provide video tutorials and you can even add your own as well as white label them to your brand.)

Make it simple for them. (When they can see how easy it is, they will be as impressed with WordPress as we as developers are.)

Hopefully you picked up on a few tips or tricks as we talked about improving our workflow. We know that it is something that a lot of smaller boutique agencies struggle with on a week to week basis.
