Being Single And Being Alone Are Two Very Different Things
Being Single Shouldn't Be A Label Of Being Alone.
• Lonely vs. solitude: A partner doesn't make you more, and being single doesn't make you less.
• Perspective is power: Your single season can feel like a lonely waiting room, or it can become a launchpad.
You not Insecure, You've been Listening to the Wrong Voices. Your worth isn't up for debate, stop letting unqualified people define your worth.
If someone couldn’t see your value, that’s their limitation—not your worth. The voices around you may have shaped some of your wounds, but they were never qualified to define who you are.
What if the thing holding you back isn’t your ability, but the story you’ve been telling yourself about your worth?
In this episode, we’re talking about how to let go of insecurity, build confidence, and begin seeing yourself through God’s perspective rather than through the opinions, rejection, or criticism of others.
We’ll walk through 3 powerful steps to recognizing your God-given worth:
1. Acknowledge where you’ve been getting your standard of worth.
Your value was never determined by someone’s approval, relationship status, appearance, accomplishments, or opinion of you. Romans 5:8 reminds us of the incredible price of God’s love—Christ died for us while we were still sinners.
2. Believe that you are worthy of love—and accept God’s love for you.
It’s one thing to acknowledge God’s love; it’s another to actually receive it. We live in a culture that can teach us that love has to be earned, achieved, or deserved. But God calls you His masterpiece.
“For we are God’s masterpiece…” — Ephesians 2:10
3. Let God’s truth become louder than other people’s opinions.
You get to choose which voices you allow to shape your identity. Take what God says about you as the truth you choose to believe, and let the negative opinions of others become nothing more than noise.
“Whatever things are true, noble, pure, just, and of good report…think on these things.” — Philippians 4:8
So often, we focus on everything we think is wrong with us instead of recognizing the beautiful qualities God has already placed within us.
Your worth was never up for negotiation. It was given by God. ❤️
