Many teachers in our community complain that their Yoga Teacher Training didn’t prepare them enough to write sequences or that they didn’t receive enough practice time to learn to write them. And, I know how much your ability to write high quality sequences would boosts your confidence.
Themed sequences that feel logical and intuitive.
you can use again and again, without feeling repetitive.
are well-rounded and offer great development of strength, flexibility, sthira and sukha.
inspire your students to continue their spiritual journey.
provide your students with enough to learn.Or simply put, sequences your students love to practice, and you love to teach.
Sequencing is a skill and just as learning vocabulary, it requires practice. On the English for Yoga Teachers Course, I’ve dedicated an entire module to learn, develop, and practice your sequencing skills. It’s one of my favourite modules, because this is where I see most of our teachers make massive progress in their confidence building and owning their authentic expression as a yoga teacher.
But what really is sequencing?
What does a sequence consist of?
And what is a well-rounded sequence?
In this episode, I’ll give you answers to all those questions!
