“You got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em!” We discuss how, if, and when to censor thoughts and words when faced with negativity. How do you not toss the table when you completely disagree with someone, while setting strong and respectful boundaries at the same time? We realize that sometimes self-censoring, even if only for a moment, helps maintain compassion and peace during this time of year. Difficult, but it IS possible! When we practice holding space for those people we disagree with, we have the opportunity for growth with compassion, patience, and love.
