In the Old Testament we read how God took Ezekiel into a valley of dry bones to make a point. How surprising when the point is still true today, re-enforced at supper.

Routines, patterns and familiarity are a part of life. It actually can be hard to do differently. When a person can, as they say, “think outside the box”, new ideas and things are formed and made. It's true for spiritual things as well.

Sometimes schoolwork can be stressful. Even when a person does his or her best work, the teacher may disagree and give a poor grade. Because of this many a person is glad to be done with school. Life itself is similar. So how in life can we be done with the gradebook when it comes to our life?

It doesn’t matter how old a person is. Life has temptations. As a child it had to do with the candy bar. Middle age, it may be the stuff someone has. In later life, it may be how one will be remembered.

How does a person face and deal with this? Listen and be encouraged.
