You're Not Core

This is Senator Bernie Sanders and I'd like you to welcome my good friends to the stage, Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for COMIN CORRECT

we give this album what it gave us: 17 minutes, plus the American Justice System vs Cro Mags and David Bowie

This week, streetwise criminality and bass slapping art punk collide as Jerry and KP look back at THE MINUTEMEN and their influential double LP, Double Nickels on the Dime

we fell a week behind, but much to your dismay
no need to run and hide its just KP and Jerry
some hot riffs this week
about a hard band
smash the play button and the talk will begin

SET IT OFF

HEY MA TOP AH THE WORLD

we were absent the day they were handing out minds at the armory

we pick it up DE LUXE

Bold- Speak Out; we take their advice!

Jer-Bear and KP take a walk through a Boston alley and get accosted by Slapshot, find out what we like and dislike about this gritty record as well as other things the American public fantasize about.

Jerry and KP get down to the nitty and the gritty of one of our favorite records. It's no doubt that this is a timeless piece in music history that has continued to bang for decades, but we gotta talk about Hank.
