I've seen this pattern over and over - we choose unavailable guys because it's SAFE. No risk of getting our hearts crushed.

Those walls you built to protect yourself? They're keeping everyone away from emotionally connecting with you.

Saying "nobody meets my standards" is just a defense mechanism. The more secure a man is, the more vulnerable you have to be - and that feels like handing someone your heart to crush.

What You Need to Do:

Be vulnerable from the START. Scare the wrong people away, attract the right people.

Ask yourself:

• Am I emotionally available?

• Can I put my heart out there openly?

• Am I making excuses about every good guy?

If you recognize this pattern, it's time to heal your past wounds and learn to communicate vulnerably.
