Love is Blind Ohio Recap – Red Flags, Snakes, and Why Settling is Never the Answer
Love is Blind is back and I have thoughts.
This season is based in Ohio and let me tell you—I'm breaking down every couple, every red flag, and every moment that made me want to scream at my screen. And trust me, there's a lot.
I'm ranking these couples from absolute worst to the only ones I'm actually rooting for. Buckle up.
Chris & Jess – The Absolute Worst
I cannot with this man. He fooled me in the beginning—seemed sweet, seemed genuine. Then he pulled a complete 180 into the grossest behavior I've ever seen on this show.
He vanishes for a day, goes to a strip club, then tells Jess her body isn't good enough because she doesn't "do Pilates every day"?
Fuck off, Chris.
This hit close to home. I dated someone like this. A man who made me feel like something was wrong with me. Spoiler: it wasn't me. It was him. And Jess—it's not you either.
But it gets worse. He's also slithering around trying to get in Bri's head, disrespecting Connor behind his back, acting like Connor isn't good enough because he's a blue collar worker.
Chris respects no one but himself. And the fact that Bri sat there entertaining this conversation? That's a whole other problem.
Alex & Ashley – Bye Bye Time
One thing. Alex did one thing that told me everything I needed to know.
He went and had a private conversation with Brittany—his ex-connection from the pods—behind Ashley's back. Talking about how the physical wasn't there with Ashley. Comparing the two women.
That's not confusion. That's disrespect. And Ashley deserves better than being someone's second choice.
Bri & Connor – I Have Questions
Connor seems like a genuinely good guy. Emotionally available. Present. Kind.
But Bri? She's sitting there nodding along while Chris trash-talks her fiancé. No pushback. No "who the fuck do you think you are?"
Your partner should have your back. Period. If Bri can't defend Connor to a snake like Chris, I don't see this lasting.
Vic & Christine – The Only Couple I Believe In
Finally. A couple that actually gives me hope.
Faith. Vulnerability. Alignment. Real conversations about raising biracial kids. Emotional maturity. They're doing the work and showing up for each other.
Unless something wild happens, I see them being the only couple to say yes at the altar.
Emma & Mike – A Maybe
I adore Emma. Her vulnerability about her birthmarks, her adoption story, her honesty about not being sure she wants kids—I respect all of it.
But Mike wants kids. And Emma's sister literally said she wouldn't have kids if she could do it over. That's a lot of noise working against them.
I'm rooting for them. But this one's complicated.
The Bottom Line?
Do not settle for anything less than C.R.A.Z.Y. love. A love where you can be Completely Real and Authentically, Zenfully You.
Watch how people show up for you. Actions over words. Always.
Ready to stop settling and finally find your forever person?
If you're done with the situationships, the emotionally unavailable men, and the bullshit—I want to help you become a dating ninja and attract the love you actually deserve.
