There are seasons when you know God has spoken a promise over your life… yet you’re still standing somewhere between “what He said” and “what you see.” That in‑between place can stir up doubt and insecurity.
But this is exactly where a child‑like faith becomes powerful. Not naïve, not uninformed — but pure, uncluttered trust. The kind of faith that believes God simply because He is God. After all we’ve lived through — disappointment, injustice, unanswered questions — choosing that kind of faith is one of the boldest things we can do.
And on this Pentecost Sunday, we remember why boldness is even possible. The Holy Spirit didn’t come so we could celebrate Easter once a year — He came so resurrection power could shape our everyday lives, even when we’re not there yet.
As you reflect on this, remember these words: “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Tim. 1:7 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Be Reflective: Where in your life do you feel in between – standing between God’s promise and its fulfillment? What would it look like to practice a simple, child-like trust in that very place? How might the Holy Spirit be inviting you to live with quiet boldness, even before everything comes together?
Be Prayerful: Heavenly Father, when I find myself in the in-between places, steady my heart. Teach me to trust You with a child-like faith – pure, simple, and honest. Fill me again with the boldness of Your Spirit so I can walk forward in love, even when I’m not there yet. Amen.
Be Fed: John 14:26-27; Acts 2: 1-47; Romans 8:15
