Keith and J-Teal are back in studio to break down all the week's golf action, including Jordan Spieth's playoff win (PLAYOFFS?!?!?!) over Pat Cantlay at Harbour Town! But to kick things off, J-Teal provides a little teaser of the YSO's upcoming pod mini-series titled "Miles of Maxwell", where the guys interview some golf dignitaries at some of Mr. Maxwell's most iconic course across Oklahoma! Next, the guys breakdown Spieth's win, despite his awful putting; Shane Lowry's "wet" chip; and ol' Tommy-lad putting together a solid weekend for the first time in a while... It's the first major championship week of the year (no, not that one) as the ladies take center stage this week on the YSO podcast!  But first, the guys recap the WGC Match Play and Scottie's Scheffler's meteoric rise to the World's #1 ranking at the ripe old age of just 25 (although he looks 45). The guys show some love to the pesky/feisty Kevin Kisner who seems to always show out at the ACC, as well as Scott's excellent dark horse pick of the week--albeit at his 2nd attempt--in Canadian, Corey Conners (PHIL?!, PHIL CONNERS?!?!?)  After that, the guys take a dive into "Poppie's Pond" to talk about the Chevron Championship and whether anyone but JYK can actually win this thing (they can) and who might challenge her (someone else whose name starts with a "K").  The guys then talk all about the Augusta National Women's Amateur and spotlight a few of the world's best amateur women, including a few with local ties (Let's go Rina Tatematsu!).  And lastly, JT calls it in for his picks on the Valero Texas Open, while openly poo-pooing most of Keith and Scott's picks for the golfers down in San Antone!  All that, a few slaps, and so much more on this week's YSO podcast!!!

It's bracket season people, and the YSO podcast is ready as the guys make their "Cinderella" picks (sort of, Scott), final foursomes and so much more on this action-packed episode!  First though, the guys recap some "Bedlam Golf" action as both the OSU and OU squads faced off against each other in some desert golf action this past weekend!  OSU came out on top in the Bedlam portion of things, while the OSU men took home the trophy in an absolute boat-race in the N.I.T. out in Tucson with a record-breaking score of -53!!!  Eugenio kept his spring hot streak going as well, as he took home top medalist honors!  The OSU women finished 3rd in the Mountain View Collegiate, just edging out the Sooner ladies who finished in 4th... The guys then recapped the Valspar as JT "Debbie Downer-ed" the whole event, despite Sam Burns dramatic win on the 2nd playoff (PLAYOFFS?!?!?) hole over Davis Riley and his smooth swing... But a lot of time is dedicated to the WGC Match Play event this week down in Austin, Texas, and given it is "bracket season", the guys make their picks and predictions for each of the 16 four-man groups!  Can Billy Ho repeat? (no)  Can Scottie Scheffler get out of the English "group of death"? (probably) And how will Bryson look in his first event back after a long layoff?? The clocks moved forward an hour, the golf moved forward a day, our pets' heads are falling off and this YSO episode is complete chaos as the boys jump back to the studio after an all-day excursion to Chalk to take a deep dive into The Players Championship and Cam Smith's big win!  It was mainly about the weather early on in the pod discussion, as Mother Nature did a number on some of the best players in the world which had some golfers questioning the "playability" on Saturday, especially on the famous (infamous) 17th there at Sawgrass.  The guys discuss Vik's poor chipping, Paul Casey's incredibly unlucky break, and DJ's back-door top 10 and record-tying round on Monday.  The guys also quickly pop in on the LPGA while in Thailand, some college golf with the OSU Cowboys, and a little local golf on the "Fairway Files" where JT toots his own horn (shocker).  All that, and so much more on this special TPC recap discussion on the YSO podcast!!

The guys are back in studio to break down all the golf talk worthy of mentioning this week! They start things off with a promo for "Major Mondays" coming next month at Chalk, but then jump right into the Arnold Palmer Invitational recap where Bay Hill was an absolute monster for the players on Sunday!  Scott(ie) Scheffler was the "last man standing" and won his 2nd PGA tour event of the young season (and ever), while some major stalwarts faded hard on the final day and were left battered and bruised by Mr. Palmer's event! The guys show some love to the ever-dominant, yet often-not-discussed JYK as she continues to lap the field on the LPGA tour, and then they jump into some college golf, with a lot of discussion focused on the OSU Cowgirls, who lost a second superstar to the transfer portal last week in Mexico's Isabella Fierro.  The OU men get their due as they win their 3rd event in a row, and get their 2nd medalist in a row, in Patrick Welch, out in Vegas last week! And speaking OU men, how 'bout Chris Gotterup down in Puerto Rico (again), and former Sooner Max McGreevy showing out as well! But of course, the "meat and potatoes" of this pod is the TPC this week, and the inevitable discussion of whether it is the official/unofficial "fifth major".  The guys break down Sawgrass, go over the field (stacked, as expected) and make their picks/predictions on what is going to happen down in Ponte Vedra this weekend, where the weather is going to be "spicy", as J-Teal would put it. The three amigos are all back together in studio this week for an action-packed YSO pod with heated debates, hot takes, and even hotter golf picks!
