Erin and Aura met at the Just Desserts Fundraiser for the Los Angeles League of Conservation Voters. Aura caught Erin's eye from across the room, dressed to the tens, wearing a cape, like the SHEro she is. She also had an uncanny resemblance to the fictional character Olivia Pope from one of Erin's favorite television shows, Scandal.

Aura, born and raised in Colombia, moved to the United States to escape the era of violence. She taught herself English. She worked nights and weekends to put herself through college. Inspired by Barak Obama, Aura decided it was time to be part of the solution, get involved, and make a difference at the local level. She is now a candidate for Los Angeles City Council 2020 (District 10). #AuraForThePeople

Erin gets Aura to open up about her personal life, something she hasn't shared with the public. Is she single, married, dating? How does Aura do it, balance campaigning, work, life in general? Are men intimidated by her strong opinions, independence, and being in the public eye? The two dish about all these things and more.

Aura's wardrobe may include capes and gorgeous heels. She may also enjoy eating popcorn and drinking wine for dinner. But unlike Olivia Pope, there's no Fitz. No Scandal here — only a woman with a heart for the people and a burning desire to make a change.

On the 8th Date of Singleness I told the Door Dash Driver I loved him.

Cathie shares her story, how she survived a divorce, raised three children on her own, and found love again using the law of attraction and positive energy.

Cathie was introduced to reiki when she and her ex were working on their marriage. Her marriage may not have survived, but her admiration for reiki did. Reiki changed her. It gave her a passion for opening her own practice where she could help others.

As she looks toward 2020 she reevaluates what she’d like to accomplish from her 2019 goal list as well as some new aspirations she’d like to attain in the upcoming year.  Erin recently sat down to begin creating her vision board for the new year. In doing so it prompted her to wonder why she can manifest health-related goals and career-related goals but when it comes to relationship goals, they seem to fall short.  In fact, there’s very little movement.  I mean, hello, she’s still very single!

This doesn’t deter her from being hopeful for what’s to come.  A new year brings a fresh slate, new opportunities, and endless possibilities.  And we all know, a lot can happen in a year.
