In the third episode of their Marvel vs. DC month, Luciano and Matt tackle their biggest topic yet: what each franchise has put out for every type of media out there, and how wrong you (predictably) are about all of them. They cover video games, movies, TV series, cartoons and more (?) in this latest battleground, to see which one comes out on top!
What? There totally are DC movies, damn it! You know what? Just shut up and listen to the episode! š”

In the second episode of their month-long tour of Marvel vs. DC, Matt and Luciano bicker about which franchise has the bests stories to offer.
Is Luciano right, and Marvel have better stories, or does Matt take the trophy on this one, since he claims DC has better ones? Maybe neither of them is right, or both of them are? Who knows? Well, go listen to it and then you will know.

This week we jump into the first episode of a month-long holiday extravaganza, where we wade deep into the kiddie pool about the ongoing rivalry between Marvel and DC. Luciano will back Marvel; Matt will back DC. Both of them are likely to be wrong on a ton of things (even if definitely less wrong than you). The real question is, who will be slightly less wrong?

This week, we talk about game pre-order bonuses, and seriously: what the hell is wrong with game dev companies that they think we'll pre-order their games for a lousy in-game art book? Good grief! Pre-order bonuses are supposed to be an incentive for us to buy games before they're actually released. Companies are supposed to hide their cash-grabbing ulterior motives by offering us interesting things, not friggin' in-game art books!
And what about seasonal events in MMOs? When are they going to stop giving us the exact same thing every year (and when are going to stop accepting it)? Sure, it was fun the first time... but when it's your 4th year playing a game, that shit gets boring. Well, at least seasonal events aren't IN-GAME ART BOOKS, Paradox! You hear me? Do you know how ridiculous that idea is? Give me an actual, physical art book, at least, you bastards!Ā (āÆĀ°ā”°ļ¼āÆļøµ ā»āā»

Extra Life! An event that raises money for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by having a bunch of geeks playing video games for 24 hours. For the third year in a row, we did it! And some of you helped us do it, too! The rest of you: SHAME! Juuuust kidding... you do you, boo.
Special guests Scott and Alexei join us to talk about how some of us stayed up playing for 24 hours straight while some others took the coward's way out and played multiple 12+ hour days in support of this great cause.

We realized you are wrong about so many things that covering only one of them per week is just too slow. We pick up the pace this week by talking about Frosty the Snow-Lich, Mad Max: Sucky Road, the Game of Thrones unoriginal runners Benioff and Weiss, Nintendo's general disdain for you (yes, you), the greatest Spider-Man ever, and everyone's inability to roleplay (on the tabletop... with clothes on. Get your mind out of the gutter, sheesh).
Strap in for our biggest brain dump yet!

You think you know how Matt and Luciano feel about Star Wars, but you're wrong (no surprise there). Because, as much as they shit on it (during this very episode, even), they still love it very much... right?
Listen... does Luciano struggle to say anything good about it without finding another 3 things to complain about in the same sentence? Yeah, sure. Does Matt not even fully understand which of his own opinions about it are positive or negative? Also yes. But come on. Star Wars has been a part of their lives since they were kids, in like the 1700's or something. That has to count for something... no?
You know what? Just listen to the thing and make up your own damn mind about it. I'll be honest: after this one, I don't think even they are 100% sure how they feel about it.

The existence of sports video games is one of the most consistent things in the world, right beside death and taxes. Yes, such is life: give large sums of your money to the government (even if they don't always spend it that well), give some more of it to companies putting out sub-par licensed sports games year after year (even though the improvements are marginal at best) and then rush headlong into the welcoming arms of the grim reaper.Ā
But what if we told you there was more to it? (Also, just checking but, uh, what if we told you there really isn't much else to it?)
Maybe it's best to come listen to a sports fanatic from Canada (Matt) and a former sports fan from Brazil (Luciano; who, let's face it, only really ever cared about soccer... and maybe volleyball) discuss all of this? Yes, yes it is.

In the battle of playing video games by yourself or playing them with friends, Matt and Luciano will (try to) defend both sides (poorly). What games will they talk about? What facts will they use? Will all their takes be equal? I mean, anything is possible with these two, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting.

This week, Matt and Luciano express their opinions on storytelling. Specifically, the bad kind. They try to talk about Star Wars only for a little bit, but come on... who do they think they're kidding? We all know their inability to just let the latest Star Wars Trilogy die the death it so richly deserves is out-matched only by J.J. Abrams' inability to come up with meaningful conclusions to the 371 "mysteries" he creates every time he directs something (or his inability to let the Emperor stay dead... uh, spoiler alert, I guess). They also talk about superhero movies and "The Matrix" sequels, among other poorly thought-out ideas.
