Black women are still so infatuated with white hairstyles and I'm struggling to understand why in 2022.
Let's address this: What effects does growing up in westernised societies have on us as people?
I still see a lot of self hatred that no one really addresses. I feel its watered down and not even accepted by a big part of the community.
I'm not here to tell anyone what to do with their hair; but I would LOVE to inspire and encourage black women to embrace their natural hair more. I been hoping for that since I was a small girl. Representation matters, especially now that people from all around can get famous and popular through social media.
Even most influencers just looks the same...
Another thing: Women not feeling beautiful without lashes, hair and nails done?
What does that say about us?
Remember that Femininity, Beauty and your Divine Feminine has nothing to do with these things! Instead search for your beauty within and, whether you believe it or not, naturally you will love yourself more.
