Ruha is an Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering student at the University of Calgary, who is passionate about using her engineering to advance disadvantaged communities and populations. Having had experience in a variety of different leadership roles, today she’ll be deriving from her experience as the founder of 100 Megawatts (pronounced a hundred megawatts), a not-for-profit targeting impoverished youth, to discuss  the most important skill needed to achieve your goals. She’ll talk more on the history of 100 Megawatts and what it represents, where she got stuck in the process, and how she discovered the most important skill to achieve goals.

This episode will talk about Leah Davidson's journey attending a top American university, after growing up in a small, rural Canadian town, and starting Canduit (www.canduit.co), an ed-tech social enterprise that is now working with 30+ universities globally. She will speak about lessons learned from fundraising for an early-stage startup, working cross-culturally in different countries, and the importance of taking risks with your career.
