The Jasper 10-under softball team placed second at the Pipestone Area Youth Fastpitch Fifth Annual Arrow Classic here in Pipestone. Baltic, S.D., won this division. The Jasper team is composed of Vera Stangle, Addi Fraser, Hailey Steuck, Eleanor Hollingsworth, Ellie Mastbergen, Allison Berkenpas, Hensley Dykstra, Lacy Odland, Amelia Otter and Mackendra Lange. The Brookings Outlaws (S.D.) won the 12-under division, with Volga, S.D., second. LeAnn Bloemendaal and Shelby Baatz served as the coaches for Jasper’s team.
