Why does Christianity have so many moral expectations?
Are they just arbitrary rules… or is something deeper going on?
In this episode we walk from Exodus and Leviticus through to the New Testament to see that biblical ethics doesn’t start with behaviour — it starts with belonging. God didn’t rescue His people and then leave them unchanged; He brought them to Himself and reshaped how they live.
That means holiness isn’t about earning God’s love, and obedience isn’t about restriction. It’s about learning to live a life that actually fits someone who now belongs to Jesus.
We’ll talk about sexuality, relationships, speech, money, and everyday decisions - not as a list of dos and don’ts, but as the natural outworking of a rescued life.
The real question Christians ask isn’t: “Is this allowed?”
It’s: “Does this match the life of someone who belongs to Christ?”
