After watching "The Passion of the Christ" for the first time, I found myself thinking about the weight of what Jesus did for us in a way I hadn’t before. Not just the suffering itself, but the love behind it — and what that kind of love asks of us in return. In 1 Peter, the Bible talks about holiness, about leaving behind the desires that once defined us, and about becoming something new. But the more I sat with it, the more I realized that holiness isn’t about trying harder to become good enough for God. It starts with remembering who He is, what He has done, and what has already been given to us.Jesus is eternal. His Word is eternal. And somehow, in the middle of our very temporary struggles, we get to belong to Him.So much of this episode is about remembering that: When you’re struggling, when you’re waiting to hear God clearly, when you’re trying to understand what He’s doing, and even when you feel far from where you think you should be.Because underneath all of it is the same truth: Jesus loves you.

Humans consider seasons coming in fours: Summer, Spring, Autumn, and Winter. Though this episode was recorded in the Summer, I was in a season of reflection and release.
Today, we talk about pressure, self-image, declaring the truth of God over oneself, and picking up our cross.
So, with this, welcome to You’ve Got Bible, a podcast where Jesus is at the center of everything. This is a space to slow down and truly study the Word of God. Each episode breaks down Scripture with intention—learning what it says, what it means, and how it transforms the way we live. Because knowing Jesus begins with knowing His Word. You’re invited to be part of a community committed to growing in faith through every season.Connect More:https://bio.site/youvegotbible
For the longest time, I didn’t think I had a testimony to share. Growing up in church, as a Pastor’s kid, I assumed testimonies were only born out of tumultuous, cinematic experiences — the kind that leave you transformed in an instant. My life felt... typical. I knew God — or at least knew of Him.But I’ve since come to learn that testimonies aren’t reserved for dramatic conversions or deliverance from visible chaos. The truest testimony is the one that gives God glory — even when it comes wrapped in quiet pain, private struggle, or a slow redemption. My prayer is that this episode reminds you that your story does not have to look dramatic to matter, and that God and His joy is present even in the quietest parts of our lives.---

Hi y'all!
In this episode, we're talking about the new thing God wants to do in your life through the Holy Spirit—and how fear, overthinking, or clinging to the past can keep you from walking in it. Rooted in Lamentations 3:22–23 and Proverbs 16:9, we reflect on God's daily mercy and how even when our plans shift, His direction is still perfect. If you've been feeling stuck, resistant to change, or just unsure of your next step, this one’s for you. Let this be your reminder: God’s faithfulness is fresh every morning—so don’t delay the new thing He’s already begun. Above all, remember, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.🤍
