KordaZone Theatre is home to Korda Artistic Productions. They put out quite a few productions a year, plus also rent out this gorgeous theatre for various events including improv comedy nights.

I was so lucky to record my 70th episode on the stage of The Capital Theatre in Windsor, Ontario with Maestro Robert Franz. Windsor has been honoured to have Robert performing and evolving our Windsor Symphony Orchestra for 10 years now.

Maestro Franz has implemented so many changes in his time with the Symphony that it has rejuvenated it and introduced them to so many people that would otherwise never have heard our Orchestra. He not only does this with his amazing onstage presence, but also a wonderful group of talented musicians that offer so many different types of music and performances.

Thanks to Robert and his wonderful team, now we have a new generation of children that not only are loving the productions the Windsor Symphony are putting on for them, they are participating and we are also lucky to have a Youth Orchestra.

Again, we are so lucky that Robert Franz has chosen Windsor to grace us with his talent as he has been busy with other Orchestras as well.

You know summer is coming in the Essex County, Ontario (YQG) area when we start thinking/talking about strawberries. But this year we have a new event strawberry event to look forward to.

Korda Artistic Productions located at the KordaZone Theatre here in Windsor, Ontario is putting on a production of The Trench by Oliver Lansley. The Trench is inspired by the true story of a miner who became entombed underground in a collapsed tunnel during World War One.

This production is directed by Windsor’s own Jeremy Burke. I also talk to one of the actress’s in the play, Georgie Savoie.
