Yuan Stevens is the policy lead on Technology, Cybersecurity, and Democracy at the Ryerson Leadership Lab. Her article The Promises and Perils of AI, [1] provides an in-depth examination into a variety of concerns surrounding AI technology implementation into civic, social, and political life. Yuan can speak with authority on the status of Canadian privacy policy in relation to algorithm based technologies, commercial or otherwise. [2]
