Yub Cast: A Star Wars Cartoon Podcast

Let’s try this again. Last night was the series FINALE of Bad Batch but you still have Yubcast for the next few weeks to go over the final episodes. This time, we go over Episode 12 from Season 3, Juggernaut. We also speculate about the series ending which is about 8 hours too late but we aren’t perfect, we just appear to be.

Back to Bad Batch after a detour to our review of Season 3 of Mandalorian. Today we discuss the double episode of Identity Crisis and Point of No Return. Almost done with Bad Batch for good. Let’s send the crew off with a bang.

We recorded this episode in June of 2023 and never released it due to editing schedules and other things. We haven’t had the chance to record the past two weeks so we ran out of Bad Batch. We decided to return to this old recording cause we love Mando and we bothered to post it. We hope you enjoy this year old recording of us discussing the latest season of Mando.

Quick production note, this was recorded BEFORE the release of the “Tales of the Empire” trailer. So there is some speculation about what this season will be before the trailer.

Sorry for the slight delay this week but there’s more Bad Batch and Star Wars Animation content in your feed now. We get to meet the new and improved Ventress. Is Omega force sensitive? Are there deep sea beasts on every planet? Are they the real power in the galaxy? What about “Dark Disciple”, what rock stars have PhDs, was Top Gun a good movie? All of this will be answered and more.

More Star Wars animation content? Yes, please. First impressions and some thoughts about the new cartoon debuting May 4, 2024…”Tales from the Empire”

We join the Bad Batch on a vacation in a swamp to catch a bug. We also deal with Crosshair’s PTSD. Let’s help the Bad Batch get healthy.

We go back to the scene of the crime with Crosshair, Hunter, Wrecker, Echo and Omega…to the snow-covered base where Mayday died and Crosshair shot Commander Nolan. Is Crosshair redeemed in the eyes of his team? Is he just a killer and can’t be trusted? How many planets in Star Wars are occupied by giant killer worms? All of this is answered in this week’s show.
