  • Hallmark:The Sequel

Did you know that penultimate means second to last? Well now you do - and this is the penultimate episode for Season 1. And just like any successful Hallmark movie, this is the sequel from our previous episode. We had way too many Hallmark leftovers and just had to bring back Big Dawg. But this time there might even be a Little Dawg that gets a cameo.

Before you start the episode go grab a pen and paper because we're going to play a few games to get us back into the Hallmark Christmas spirit. You'll also need it to write down your list of unhinged Christmas ornamets to buy for your tree this year. After you purchase them send us an email at [email protected] and tell us what you bought.

If you like this episode and want to hear more, you can help get the snowball rolling by sharing this show with your friends and family. We might even convince Tatum to tell her family about it too.

Y'all are the best! See ya soon!

  • History of Hallmark: Big Dawg & The Sharks

What would you do with a nothing but a shoebox full of postcards and a name like J.C. "Big Dawg"? We'll tell you what you'd do - you'd create one of the largest Christmas entertainment machines of modern times. And with some luck, marketing genius, and some fake snow you'll now sit atop the global phenomenon known as Hallmark™️

Grayson and Josh did some legit research (please don't fact-check it), while Tatum did her own special research...on sharks. Because of this, she gets to live out a custom-made "Hallmark Moment" of her own on this episode.

So whether you love history, culture, suspiciouly predictable Christmas movies, or even sharks - this one is for you.

As always, thanks for listening and sharing Yuletide Records with the world. One day we'll even find a way to let Tatum's family know about this podcast.

Email is still [email protected] so you know where to find us.

    Merry Christmas! 🎄

  • America: 2 - 0

Just in time for the semiquincentennial celebration of our beloved USA, we're back and we're packing some serious boiled goose. But before we get ahead of ourselves we need to know...should Prime Day also be considered a national holiday? And while we're voting on that, let's talk about our right to vote for our favorite Christmas customs and traditions when compared to our friends across the pond. The British Crown and culture may have deeply impacted how our country treated everyone's favorite holiday - but we think we've made some pretty impressive upgrades within our 250 years of freedom. So grab a scorecard of your own and pick a side - there will be no quarter given - you're either loyal to the Crown or you're with the rest of the Traitors blazing your own tinsel-themed trail.

Send your final results to: [email protected] and tell us where we're wrong - we'll give you a shout out on the next episode.

Now it's time to take a few dogs off the grill, crack open an iced cold fridge cigarette, and celebrate July 4th the way our founding fathers intended...with a little yuletide democracy at work. And after this holiday, we're marking our runway to Christmas.

    Cheers,

  • The Great Angela Lans-BEARy Part 2

No bears in this one. But somehow a walrus and a hippopotamus get mentioned. We tried to stay the course with Dame Angela Lansbury, and we were doing great and then all of the sudden we're in slasher movie territory and worked our way all the way back to the boozy eggnog-loving patriot, George (Michael) Washington. So much for the show notes. You're going to have to make up your own mind on what movies can and can't be played for a Summerween party. We just recommend staying away from the body horror genre. And don't forget that we are officially on the right side of Christmas. We passed Leon Day and we're starting the countdown. And whether you're listening in July, December or anywhere in-between we're so glad you're hanging out with us.

    Merry MidSommarween you guys!

  • The Great Angela Lans-BEARy Part 1

It's hot. Like, hot hot. There's actually an excessive heat warning as we're doing this, and that can only mean one thing. Summer. We're almost at the halfway mark between Christmases. And there's no better way to stay cool than to jump into an episode dedicated to bears...er...well, kind of. But that's just the tip of the proverbial Christmas iceberg for this one. We've decide to take on a multiple episode topic that everyone has experienced at some point in your life...the longing for something you don't have. Luckily we have a great guide in the one and only Dame Angela Lansbury. She's got it covered.

We missed y'all and all of this. We had to take a break due to work, life, death, and all sorts of other things going on. So thank you for BEARing with us as we're picking up where we left of.

We'd love it if you'd tell your friends about the show, follow us on Instagram, and send us a message at [email protected].

    Cheers,

  • Maewyn Succat, I Presume?

Double Digits for this one. We finally made it to 10 episodes! This has been so much fun and we are so glad to be back in action for this special episode. We're letting St. Nick share the stage with another venerated holiday character and that's good ol' St. Partick. But that's not even his real name. And if that's not enough...he wasn't even born in Ireland. So how did he get there? Did he really drive out all the snake from the country? Is Tim Allen a werewolf? Don't worry...we'll figure it all out. So grab your favorite Irish drink, drown a shamrock, and we'll see you in the episode! We'd love to hear from you so drop us a line at [email protected] and let us know if we're doing a good job. -Josh, Grayson & Tatum

  • Phil's Got A Wife

It's been way too long friends, but we're back. And we all made sure to mark ourselves safe from the Winter Blitzkrieg that attacked most of the US.

Although we may have to check on Tatum every time the tempature drops below freezing from now on. And if you're asking yourself, is there really any more Christmas content to talk about - the answer is always yes. We're gonna talk about a fairly obscure end of Christmas holiday and one of your soon-to-be favorite holidays as well.

But before we get into that we wanted to take a few minutes to recognize the life and contribution of the most relatable on-screen Christmas mom we all grew up with, the irreplaceable Catherine O'Hara.

  • It's Like A Teaser Trailer Episode

This is a good one! We've got all the topics that we're going to cover this year. From Austrailan crows to Christmas in space and we're mapping it all out and inviting everyone in on the fun.

If there's a topic you want covered that we didn't mention just email us at [email protected] and we'll add it to the list.

Help us spread the Christmas cheer all year by sharing these episodes with other friends and anyone that needs to be reminded that there's always a reason to celebrate the best holiday any time of year.

    Thanks everyone!

  • We're Not Even Close To Being Done

Are you still celebrating Christmas? Good! Because we've got several reasons why the season hasn't ended yet. And we're not stopping either. In this episode we take a trip back in time to Rome, try to remember the song Twelve Days of Christmas, and Tatum can't quite get over why there are so many birds in that song. Don't worry, we might have an answer. So grab a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or wassail and let's have some fun.

Email us at [email protected] so we can keep the conversation going!

  • The Christmas Movie Showdown

32 movies competing for this year's Yuletide Records top spot.

From the classics to current movies we've got it all covered. Live action, claymation, and maybe even a muppet. You might disagree with the final outcome but we can all agree that this is probably how the Academy Awards are chosen too. And maybe this will even inspire you to create your own bracket and pick out a few movies to watch before the season's end. If you do, email us at [email protected] and let us know who made the final four on your list.

    Enjoy!
