Secret worship is better than public worship, however its the opposite for a person in authority.

Unconfirmed and suspicious thoughts of a muslim brother/sister is haram, causing destruction and darkness in hearts ultimately leading to corrupt deeds.

Sincerity effects the earth and the hereafter.
