Al Mugheerah ibn Shu'uba (ra).

Fajr - A prayer done with excellence.

Mugheerah (ra) performs ablution with The Messenger ﷺ during the expedition to Tabook, thereafter caught the prayer led by Abdurehman ibn Auf (ra).

A Prophet was never taken until he had prayed behind a righteous man of his community (Ibn Saa'd).

O Allah (SWT)! Shower Your Blessings on the cavalry and infantry of the tribe of Ahmas (Abo Dawood).

6 months after The Seige of Taa'if The Companions March to Tabook - A 600 mile trek in the blazing heat.

"Allah (SWT) has forgiven the Prophet ﷺ , the Muhaajireen (rala) and the Ansaar (rala) who followed him in the Hour of distress (ie the Tabook Expedition)

Surah Tawbah 9 : 117.

The distress was regarding water, expenses & transport.

The Seige of Taa'if

"O Allah (SWT)! Give guidance to Thaqeef! (Tirmidhi).

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ besieged the people of Taa 'if for some thirty days and then left, not having defeated them.

After He ﷺ had returned to Al-Madeenah, a Delegation of them came to Him ﷺ in Ramadaan, and they embraced Islam"

Hunayn & The Ambush

Hadrat Urwah (ra) observing the Companions (ra) very closely. He would say later

By Allah (SWT)! Even when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would spit, someone woula catch it and rub it on his face and body...

Thus, Hadrat Urwah (ra) was so impressed with the love and devotion of the Noble Companions (ra/a) with regards to Allah's (SWT) Messenger ﷺ that he (ra) had later gone on to say...

"O my nation! I have gone to the delegation of kings, Caesar, Chosroes and Neegus, But i have never witnessed a people who have paid more respect to their kings than the Companions (ra) of Muhammad ﷺ to Muhammad ﷺ !" (Bukhari)

The Wry Guard, Session 7

Al Mugheerah ibn Shu'uba (ra).

Abu Dawood (rah) had related the Hadith like this,

'As for the wealth, we have no concern with it.'

The Holy Prophet ﷺ thus declared in this Hadith that he accepted his submission to Islaam, but this wealth has been snatched by breach of trust and was a treachery - hence he did not have any desire for this wealth.

Mugheerah & his great uncle (ra) exchange a few words at Hudaybiah.

Al Muqawqis is sat by The Sea when a band of men from Thaqeef visit.

Faith does not denote the mere knowledge of something but rather Faith refers to obedience and submission - Heraculis recognised The Signs of Prophethood but did not accept Faith.

The world leaders are invited to Islam - a unique distinction of The Messenger ﷺ.

Haatib The Badri (ra) is sent to Al Muqawqi who now has a slight change of tone.

His kingship prevented him from the truth.

The Disciples of Isa (A.S.) are commanded to propagate Islam far & wide.

The Umrah to Hudaybiah is used as a criterion for those who embraced Islam before & after it.

Mugheerah (ra) embraced Islam before The Umrah to Hudaybiah.

4 AH the meeting with Al Muqawqis the viceroy in Egypt for the Romans, who recognises The Signs of Prophethood.

The Pope that offers 5 daily prayers gives Dawaat to Mugeerah (ra) as he mentions The Signs of Prophethood.

Al Mugheerah ibn Shu'uba (ra),

Mugheerah (ra) applies yellow dye to his beard.

Using Dye on hair...

Henna - how good this is.

Henna & Katam - This is even better

Yellow dye - The Best of All (Abu Dawood).

"The most cunning of the Arabs are four;

Hadrat Mu'aawiyah (ra),

Hadrat Amr ibn al-Aas (ra),

Hadrat al- Mugheerah ibn Shu'uba (ra) and

Ziyaad.

Hadrat Mu'aawiyah (ra) shows it in his forbearance and patience

Hadrat Amr (ra) in difficulties (ie tight spots).

Hadrat al-Mugheerah (ra) in unexpected situations,

And

Ziyaad in both great and small things (Ibn Asaakir).

The judges are 4 ;

Hadrat Umar (ra),

Hadrat Alee (ra),

Hadrat Ibn Mas'ood (ra) and

Hadrat Zayd ibn Thaabit (ra) (Ibn Asaakir).

Abu Jahl declares to Mugheerah (ra)

"By Allah (SWT)! I know for sure that whatever he ﷺ says is the truth - however, there is only one thing that prevents me from accepting (ie that he belongs to the Banoo Qusayy -the 4th grandfather of our Beloved Messenger [saw] who had united the Quraysh).

Abu Jahl states

"Verily, We do not belie you (saw) - but we belie that which you have brought!"

A verse is thus revealed...

"We know well that their talk grieves you-but in truth they do not deny you - but it is the Signs of Allah (SWT) that the evildoers condemn." (Surah 6 : 33).
