Synopsis
To prepare for the time when “there will be no jealousy or competition,” we must strive to eliminate all jealousy and competition now, and to increase in Ahavas Yisroel and Jewish unity, as discussed at length at the Shabbos farbrengen. At the very least, there should be no outward expression of the opposite of Ahavas Yisrael, neither in deed nor in writing (nor by writing letters without signatures and the like chas v’shalom). Since today isn’t Shabbos, we should speak only about the positive: we must increase in all matters of Ahavas Yisroel, in giving tzedakah happily etc., which will prepare for the imminent arrival of Moshiach literally right now, which will be heralded by “Pinchas, who is Eliyahu,” who, as a Kohen, will certainly hasten to announce it. Pinchas in particular embodies alacrity, because he merited to become a Kohen (not by birth but) by his own effort etc., and surely he will demonstrate his alacrity by hastening to announce that Moshiach has come, literally right now.
