הוראה ממ"ש [בראשון דפ' תולדות] בהתחלת הפרשה "ואלה תולדות יצחק" עפ"י מ"ש רש"י "יעקב ועשו האמורים בפרשה": בעצם ובשרש – אין מציאותו של עשו, אלא כל מציאותו הוא זה שהוא "אמור בפרשה" כ"תולדות יצחק" – שענינו לפעול צחוק למעלה שזהו ע"י העבודה דאתכפיא ואתהפכא חשוכא לנהורא, ועי"ז נשלם הכוונה דדירה בתחתונים וכו'. ואפילו כאשר הנשמה (יעקב) יורדת למטה למצב של "תולדות", ונמצאת בעולם, "בפרשה" מלשון הפרשה – מופרש משרשה, ושם נראה שישנה מציאות של עשו – בכוחה לפעול ע"י לימוד התורה ("בפרשה") ש"עס זאל זיך אָנהערן" אצלו וגם בעשו ואוה"ע עצמם, בגילוי, שכל מציאותו של עשו הוא בשביל "תולדות יצחק" ו"אמור הפרשה", עד שהם מסייעים לבנ"י בעבודתם בכלל ועאכו"כ באה"ק.

Synopsis
On the verse, “These are the descendants of Yitzchak,” Rashi says, “Yaakov and Esav who are mentioned in the parashah.” In essence, Esav has no existence other than being “mentioned in the parashah,” just like the “descendants of Yitzchak” – who causes laughter by transforming darkness to light and making a dwelling for Hashem in this world. Even when the soul (Yaakov) descends to the level of “descendants,” to this world where it finds itself in a “parashah” in the sense of hafrashah – separated from its root, and where it seems that Esav does exist – it has the ability, through Torah study (“in the parashah”) to perceive openly that Esav’s entire existence is only for the “descendants of Yitzchak,” and to be “mentioned in the parashah,” and for Esav and the nations themselves to perceive this, to the point that they assist the Jewish people in their service in general, and all the more so in the Holy Land.
