[המשך] ובזה מתורץ מה שעל השאלה "וכי תאמרו מה נאכל בשנה השישית" לא באה התשובה שהקב"ה הוא "הזן ומפרנס לכל" והוא יאכילם אז ב"לחם מן השמים" כמו במדבר?! כי בכניסתם לארץ, "כי תבאו אל הארץ", התחיל הסדר ש"אין סומכים על הנס" אלא צ"ל עשי' בדרכי הטבע. אלא שהקב"ה מבטיח ש"וצויתי את ברכתי בשנה השישית", שהברכה תהי' בלבושי הטבע עצמם. והכלי לזכות בברכת ה' כבר "בשנה השישית" הוא כאשר החלטתו הראשונה בכניסתו לארץ היא, שזהו ארץ (ועם) ששייך לה' – "ושבתה הארץ שבת לה'"! וכך יש גם לחנך הילדים, שכאשר יגיע התקופה שהם יצטרכו לדאוג לפרנסתם, "כניסתם לארץ", ועפ"י תורה צריך לעשות לזה כלי בדרכי הטבע, הנה החלטתם הראשונה צ"ל ש"כל מעשיך יהיו לשם שמים". ועי"ז יזכו לברכת ה'. ב' נקודות אלו 1) צ"ל פעולה בדרכי הטבע. 2) אבל זה צ"ל מיוסד ע"ז ש"לה' הארץ ומלואה" – נוגע גם (ובמיוחד) בקשר להמצב לאחרונה בארצנו הק'.

Synopsis
[Continuation.] This also explains why the answer to the question “And if you should say, ‘What will we eat in the seventh year?’” is not that Hashem will provide “bread from heaven” just like in the desert. Because once “you enter the land,” one ma no longer “rely on a miracle”; rather, one must act by natural means. But Hashem promises that, “I will command My blessing in the sixth year,” within the cloak of nature itself, causing the produce to last for as long as needed. The vessel to merit Hashem’s blessing in the “sixth year” comes when one’s first decision upon entering the land is that this is a land (and a people) that belongs to Hashem – “and the land shall rest a Shabbos to Hashem.” Children should be educated in such a way that when the time comes for them to earn a livelihood (“entering the land”), they know that while the Torah requires making a vessel by natural means, the first decision one must take is that “all your deeds shall be for the sake of heaven”; in this way they will merit Hashem’s blessing. These two points – (1) that one must act via natural means, but (2) the action must be founded on the basis that “the earth and its fullness belong to Hashem” – also apply to the recent situation in Eretz Yisrael.
