כללות הענין דעשרת הדברות – שאודותם מסופר בחלק ברביעי דפ' ואתחנן – קשור במיוחד לילדי ישראל. שהרי רק כאשר בנ"י הציעו את ה"ערבות" של "בנינו עורבים אותנו" קיבל זאת הקב"ה ונתן את התורה לכל ישראל. ובפשטות: זה שעכשיו התורה היא אצלנו, ה"ז בזכותם של הילדים הקטנים שהיו בעת מ"ת בפעם הראשונה, שמהם נמסרה הערבות לילדי ישראל מדור לדור עד שבדורנו זה! ובזה מודגש עוד יותר גודל הזכות והואחריות המוטלת על כאו"א מילדי ישראל שבדורנו זה, להתאסף לקבל את התורה מחדש ביתר שאת ותוקף, עד שיזכו לגאולה האמיתית והשלימה שאז ישמעו וילמדו את התורה מהקב"ה בעצמו. וההכנה קרובה לזה היא ע"י שמתאספים יחד כדי להתפלל לה', ללמוד תורתו ולתת צדקה (כפי שנסיים כנס זה). ובקרוב ממש יקויים תפלתו של משה "ואתחנן אל ה' גו'" – שהוא ביחד עם כל ישראל באים לארצנו הקדושה וכו'.

Synopsis
The Aseres Hadibros (in revi’i of Va’eschanan) has a special connection to Jewish children, because Hashem only agreed to give the Jewish people the Torah when the Jewish people said “Our children will be our guarantors.” In simple terms this means that the fact that we now have the Torah is in the merit of the young Jewish children. And this further emphasizes the great privilege and responsibility every Jewish child in our generation has, to gather and receive the Torah anew, and with greater vitality and excitement, until we merit the true and complete Redemption, when we will hear Torah from Hashem Himself. The way to prepare for the Redemption is by gathering together to daven to Hashem, to study his Torah and give tzedakah, as we will do at the end of this gathering. And very soon we will experience the fulfillment of Moshe’s tefillah as well, “And I entreated Hashem etc.,” to enter the Land with the entire Jewish people.
