בפרשיות התורה דשבועות אלה (וארא, בא ובשלח) מסופר אודות הגאולה ממצרים. מבואר בתו"א בענין "בשלח פרעה את העם", שפרעה בעצמו שלח עם בנ"י את ניצוצות הקדושה דמצרים. וההוראה: ע"י כל פעולה שיהודי עושה בכל יום בגלות ה"ה מאיר עוד חלק בעוה"ז הגשמי, שעי"ז פועלים את תכלית השלימות דימות המשיח שהוא גילוי אוא"ס בעוה"ז הגשמי, ולכן צריכים להסתכל על כל רגע של גלות כמו רגע של הכנה לגאולה. וכשיודעים זאת, נקל יותר להתמודד עם קשיי הגלות. ובאמת יהודי הוא בעצם למעלה מכללות ענין הגלות ויכול לעבוד עבודתו בלי להתחשב כלל במיצרים וגבולים שמצד הגלות. ובזה יובן מאמר רבי פנחס בן יאיר לגינאי נהרא, שלא רצה לחלוק מימיו בפניו בטענה שזהו תפקידו, ש"אם אי אתה חולק כו' גוזרני עליך שלא יעברו בך מים לעולם", כי תפקידו של יהודי הוא למעלה מתפקידו של גינאי נהרא. ולכן תובעים צדיקי הדור לעשות דברים שאין להם מקום בטבע, כיון שיהודי הוא בטבעו למעלה מהגלות וכו'.

Synopsis
On the verse “When Pharaoh sent the people...,” Torah Or explains that Pharaoh himself sent the sparks of holiness along with the Jewish people when they left Egypt. The lesson is that a Jew’s every deed illuminates another part of this physical world, and thereby brings about the ultimate revelation with the coming of Moshiach. Therefore, one must view every moment of exile as a moment of preparation for Redemption. When one knows this, it becomes easier to cope with the hardships of exile. And the truth is that a Jew inherently transcends the whole existence of exile,and can perform his divine service without consideration at all of the limitations and constraints the exile imposes. As Rabbi Pinchas ben Yair told the Ginai River when it refused to split (claiming that doing so was not its purpose): “If you do not split… I decree upon you that no water shall ever flow through you again” – because the role of a Jew is higher than the role of the Ginai River. For this reason, the Tzaddikim of the generation demand things that defy nature, because a Jew is naturally higher than exile etc.
