באותו זמן שבעולם הי' "מבול", הנה אצל אלו שהיו בתוך תיבת נח יחד עם הבהמות והחיות וכו' הי' ע"ד המעמד ומצב של ימות המשיח! – ע"ד היעוד דלע"ל "וגר זאב עם כבש .. ונער קטן נוהג בם"! וההוראה: לאחרי שבת בראשית, כשתובעים מיהודי שהגיע הזמן ל"ויעקב הלך לדרכו" – לצאת מביהכנ"ס וביהמ"ד ומעמד ומצב שהי' במשך חודש תשרי, – ל"חוץ", לעשות שם דירה לו ית', וצועק הרי המצב בעולם הוא מצב מבהיל "מבול" ו"מים רבים" וכו', עליו לדעת שמיד לאחרי שבת בראשית (בא פ' נח – ) יש לו את הנתינת-כח לעשות לעצמו "תיבה", ואם רק יעשה לעצמו "תיבה" ויכנס לתוכו, אין לו מה להתפעל מה"מים רבים", ועוד יותר: בכוחו להכניס בו את "כל העולם" באופן של "לא ירעו ולא ישחיתו", והוא נעשה הבעה"ב עליהם!

During the Mabul, for those inside Noach’s Teivah it was like the time of Moshiach; there was peace in the Teivah like the promise, “And a wolf shall live with a lamb…a small child shall lead them.” The lesson is that after Shabbos Bereishis, when “Yaakov goes on his way,” a Jew is expected to leave the shul and study hall, to leave the state of Tishrei, and go out into the world and make a dwelling for Hashem there. He may see that the world is in a shocking state (“bilbul” etc.), with the “many waters” of the Mabul etc. – but he must know that immediately after Shabbos Breishis [comes Parashas Noach] – he is given the power to make a Teivah for himself. So long as he makes the Teivah and enters it, he has no reason to fear the many waters. Moreover: he has the power to bring the entire world into the Teivah, such that “they will not hurt nor destroy,” and he becomes in charge of them.
