יציאת מצרים הוא ענין עיקרי בחודש ניסן, שחודש ניסן הוא "ראשון הוא לכם לחדשי השנה". ולכן צריך להיות זכירת יציאת מצרים בכל יום ויום. והזכירה צ"ל באופן שלא רק ש"הוא עצמו יצא ממצרים", אלא צריך לפעול את זה גם על הילדים. וכמו שרואים שדוקא בנוגע לחג הפסח מצינו את הענין ד"כי ישאלך בנך" ואצל כל הד' סוגי בנים, וכל ההגדה היא תשובה לשאלת הבנים "מה נשתנה" וכו'.
