מנהג ישראל לקשר את היום דל"ג בעומר עם תשב"ר. הקשר עם תחילת פ' בהר "והי' כי תבוא אל הארץ וגו'": אצל תשב"ר, שכל ענינם הוא לימוד התורה, "שבת", מודגש הסדר שלכל לראש "ושבתה הארץ שבת לה'", ולאח"ז בא הזמן ד"שש שנים תזרע שדך וגו'". כאן המקום לעורר ע"ד ההתעסקות עם ילדי ישראל בל"ג בעומר: אלו שכבר עסקו בזה - שיוסיפו, ובמקומות שעדיין לא עסקו בזה (כדרוש) - לכנס ילדי ישראל בסמיכות לל"ג בעומר (באופן המותר) ולדבר אתם בעניני תורה ואודות ל"ג בעומר. ובפרט בש.ז. שאירעו דברים מבהילים נגד רשב"י! וי"ל שכיון שמתקרבים לביאת המשיח שאז לא יהי' קנאה ותחרות וכו', ישנם המשתדלים לחטוף ולנצל את רגעי גלות האחרונים להוסיף בעניני שנאה ומחלוקת. וזה צריך לעורר את ההולכים בדרכו של רשב"י, שלאחרי כל עבודתם עדיין לא הביאו בפועל את משיח צדקנו, ועליהם לזכור שבהם תלוי הדבר להוסיף עוד יותר בהפצת המעיינות חוצה. ובעניננו: שיראו אשר כל ילדי תשב"ר שמחים בשמחתו של רשב"י!

Synopsis
The Jewish custom is to involve the schoolchildren on Lag B’Omer. This is connected to the beginning of Parashas Behar, “When you come to the land, etc.”: schoolchildren are fully involved in Torah study – “Shabbos” – which emphasizes that first comes “the land shall rest a Shabbos to Hashem,” and only afterwards comes the “six years you shall sow your field, etc.” This is the place to further mention the importance of gathering the children in the days close to Lag B’Omer (in a permissible manner) to speak to them about Torah and about Lag B’Omer. Especially this year, when some people have done shocking things against Rashbi: it can be said that since we are approaching the coming of Moshiach, when there will be no more jealousy and competition, etc., and yet there are those who endeavor to seize the last moments of exile to increase hatred and division – this should inspire those who follow the way of Rashbi to remember that it depends on them to seize every moment and increase in spreading the wellsprings outward. And in this case – to see to it that all Jewish children rejoice in the joy of Rashbi!
