בקשר עם סיום לימוד ספר יד החזקה להרמב"ם יש לערוך "סיום" על לימוד הרמב"ם בכל מקום. וכמה אופנים בזה: א) לערוך "סיום" בכל מקום שהיו עכ"פ עשרה לומדים, ובאופן כזה יערכו סיומים במקומות רבים. ב) לערוך "סיום" מרכזי אחד בהשתתפות כולם יחדיו באופן ד"ברוב עם הדרת מלך". ג) לעשות את שתיהם בהפרש של כמה שבועות. וההחלטה איך לעשות צריכה להקבע כפי הנראה לעסקני המקום שעל אתר בהתאם לתנאי המקום. ואם יהי' להם ספק – הרי "ספיקא לחומרא"... וכדי לעשות את כל הענינים באופן מסודר יש להתחיל לעסוק בהכנות המתאימות, הכנה רבתי, מבעוד מועד. וכמדובר כמ"פ שענין זה אינו שייך לחוג מסויים וכיו"ב – שהרי לימוד הרמב"ם שייך לכאו"א מישראל עד סוף כל הדורות! ובלשון של הקדמת הרמב"ם "כקטן כגדול". ויהי רצון שכל ענינים אלו יהיו בהצלחה גדולה יותר שיוכלו לצפות לפי ערך היגיעה, ושכ"ז יוסיף בהתמדה ושקידה וחיות בלימוד הרמב"ם בשנה שלאח"ז באופן ד"מוסיף והולך ואור".

In connection with completing the study of the Rambam’s Yad HaChazakah, a siyum should be held in every place. There are several ways to do this: (1) To organize a siyum wherever there are at least ten people who studied, which would result in siyumim in many locations. (2) To organize one central siyum, “The King's glory is in a multitude of people.” (3) To do both, with a gap of several weeks between them. The decision should be made by the local community organizers based on the circumstances of every place. And if there’s any doubt – “a doubt should be resolved stringently”...To ensure that everything is done in an organized manner, proper preparations should begin well in advance. And as discussed many times, this isn’t for any particular group or circle; the study of the Rambam is for every single Jew, until the end of all generations, as the Rambam writes in his introduction, for “small and great alike.” May it be Hashem’s will that all this be accomplished with even greater success than can be anticipated relative to the effort invested, and that it result in greater diligence, persistence, and enthusiasm in the study of the Rambam in the coming year, in a manner of ever-increasing light.
