[המשך] וההוראה: כאשר אדם רואה שרוב היום הוא עסוק בשאר צרכיו ורק מיעוטו הולך לעניני תומ"צ, וגם זה רק מגיל בר-מצוה, ושואל מדוע לא נולד מחוייב במצוות, ושיצטרך לעסוק רק בתומ"צ?! אומרים לו: "כל העולם כולו לא נברא אלא לצוות לזה", קריאת המגילה לא מתחילה עם "ליהודים היתה אורה – זו תורה", אלא דוקא ב"ויהי בימי אחשורוש .. המולך מהודו ועד כוש", ודוקא זה הביא ל"ונהפוך הוא"! וכך יהי' אפי' בימות המשיח: גם אז יהי' לא רק הקב"ה תורה ובנ"י, אלא גם "זרים", אלא שכל מציאותם תהי' טפילה לבנ"י. והעיקר – בנוגע לעבודתנו בהווה: אין להבהל מזה שכללות עם ישראל הוא מיעוט קטן, כי מה שחשוב זה לא הכמות אלא האיכות – הקשר עם מקור החיים וכו'. ודוקא לאחרונה התגלה דוגמא לזה שגם בכמות קטנה יכולים להיות גנוזים כחות עצומים של איכות וכו'.

Synopsis
(Continued.) The lesson is that when a person sees that most of his day is occupied with his other needs, and only a small portion is dedicated to Torah and mitzvos – and moreover, for a numbers of years he wasn’t even obligated to keep Torah and Mitzvos , he may ask: Why wasn’t I born obligated in mitzvos, and why wasn’t I created in such a way that I only have to engage in Torah and mitzvos? The answer is that, “The entire world was created only to serve as companions for him”; the Megillah reading doesn’t begin with “For the Jews there was light – this refers to Torah,” but with “And it came to pass in the days of Achashverosh… who ruled from Hodu to Kush.” And it was specifically this led to “it was reversed.” And this will apply even in the days of Moshiach: Even then, there will exist “strangers standing and pasturing your sheep” and planting and sowing etc. – but their entire existence will be secondary to the Jewish people. The main lesson is regarding our service in the present era: One should not be alarmed by the fact that the Jewish people are a small minority in the world, because what matters is not quantity, but quality – the connection to the Source of Life etc. And as we see specifically in recent times how even something very small can contain tremendous power etc.
