בכאו"א ישנו נצוץ מנשמת משה רבינו ומצד זה כל עניני תומ"צ הם "מילתא זוטרתי". ל"פשוט שבפשוטים" זה מובן בפשטות, שהרי יודע ש"שמע ישראל וגו'" הוא פסוק בתורה ש"צוה לנו משה וגו'", ופשוט אצלו שמשה הי' מונח בתורה עם כל חיותו ונשמתו, ובמילא מבין שכשמשה נתן לו פסוק זה – כלול בו גם נשמתו של משה. אבל ל"למדן" יש צורך בהשתדלות מיוחדת להסביר לו שכל גדלותו בתורה הוא מצד נצוץ נשמת משה שבו... וכאשר כל א' ינצל את בחי' משה שבו לצאת ממדידותיו והגבלותיו – זה יפעול בו ובסביבתו ש"נתמלא הבית כולו אורה", וכאשר מצטרפים כמה יהודים יחד – "כאַפּט מען זיך" שישנו בעולם "אור גדול" ואילו מהחושך לא נשאר אלא מעט – באותו שטח בעולם שאור הקדושה עדיין לא הגיע אליו, אף שמעט חושך זה הוא כפול ומכופל, שלכן, ביחד עם זה שכל מעשה טוב שנעשה במשך כל הדורות הוא באופן ד"יחוד נצחי" ומרבה אור, נשאר עדיין ענינים שלא נתבררו שיש להשלים ולברר.

Every Jew has a spark of the soul of Moshe Rabbeinu, which enables all matters of Torah and mitzvos to be considered “a small thing” for him. A simple person understands this plainly, because he knows that Shema Yisrael is a verse in the Torah that “Moshe commanded us” etc.; since it is obvious to him that Moshe was fully immersed in the Torah with his entire life force and soul, he understands that when Moshe gave him this verse, it also contains Moshe’s soul. However, for a learned person special effort is required, to explain to him that all his greatness in Torah comes from the spark of Moshe’s soul within him. When every individual utilizes the level of Moshe within himself to transcend his limitations and boundaries, that impacts him and his surroundings, so that “the entire house becomes filled with light.” And when multiple Jews come together, they realize that there’s a “great light” in the world, whereas only a small amount of the darkness remains – those areas in the world that the light of holiness hasn’t yet reached (though this small amount of darkness is doubled and redoubled, which is why these parts of the world still need to be elevated and perfected, despite the fact that every good deed performed throughout the generations creates an eternal union and increases light).
