א) פרשת תולדות נק' כך ע"ש התחלתה "ואלה תולדות יצחק", ולכאו' עפ"י הסדר, זה הי' צ"ל השם של פ' "נח" שלפנ"ז שמתחילה גם עם "אלה תולדות נח", ושם פ' תולדות שלאח"ז הי' צ"ל "יצחק"?! אלא שבזה מרומז גודל מעלתם של בנ"י: "תולדות" מורה על כללות שליחות בנ"י לעולם להוליד "תולדות" – "תולדותיהם של צדיקים – "ועמך כולם צדיקים" – מעשים טובים", ולפני קיום שליחותו מקדים הקב"ה ונותן לו "נח נח" – "נייחא בעליונים (עניני הנשמה) ונייחא בתחתונים (עניני הגוף)! ב) מעלת הגוף של יהודי ביחס לנשמתו, שדוקא בו, שהוא יש הגשמי, ניכר שמתהווה מעצומ"ה ש"הוא לבדו בכחו ויכלתו לברוא יש מאין וכו'", ונמצא דגופו של יהודי הוא למע' מכל סדר ההשתלשלות! ועוד.

Synopsis
A Jew should not wonder how he can have an effect on the entire world – because the conduct of all the countries in the world is determined on Rosh Hashana, as we say on Rosh Hashana, “Concerning countries, [judgment] is pronounced on [this day],” in accordance with the degree of feeling with which the Jewish people say U’nesaneh Tokef, and after that they accept His kingship during Keser, and they say that “He is our G-d . . . He will save us and He will redeem us . . . I am Hashem your G-d!” The fact that during the exile the Jewish people require the help of the non-Jewish nations is only because Hashem wants it to be that way; a Jew should not feel down because of it, and certainly he shouldn’t be embarrassed of his Yiddishkeit or sacrifice any part of Yiddishkeit G-d forbid, but to the contrary – one should be proud of it! And we should show the world that “There is one nation,” that even in exile, “their laws differ from [those] of every nation,” just like Mordechai who “neither kneeled nor prostrated himself!” This must be expressed in every detail of daily life, and we must educate our children in this fashion. This is the only way in which the non-Jews will respect the Jewish people, and they will be happy that they have the privilege to help them.
