[המשך] כאשר בנ"י רק מכריזים בתוקף שברצונם "לישכב" עלי' – על כל ת' על ת' פרסה של א"י – "ושכבתם ואין מחריד", שלזה צריכים "ונתתי שלום בארץ" – באים הגויים וצועקים שרצונם בשלום, ומהר! שהרי אז ישנה הבטחת ה' ש"תהא הארץ נוחה ליכבש" כד' אמות בלבד ש"שוכב עלי'" (שבהם מתפשט בחי' היחידה שבנפש של יהודי). ורק צריכים ללמוד ממ"ש בפ' השבוע שגם כאשר יהודי ישן (אבל) כיהודי – נעשים הד' אמות שלו – א"י, וה' "מקפל" תחתיו את כל א"י ונעשה עליו בעה"ב, ומביא שלום גם לבניו וכו'! ויה"ר שכבר לא יצטרכו לדבר ע"ד זה, ואחרי שבנ"י, בראותם שהגויים "סירבו לקחת", התפכחו ומסרבים לוותר יותר – שיתפסו שכל הסברא לוותר היתה טעות לכתחילה ולהודות בטעותם, והעיקר לעמוד בתוקף במעשה להיות "שוכב עלי'" על כל א"י! ואז יראו קיום ההבטחה ש"הארץ אשר אתה שוכב עלי' לך אתננה ולזרעך וגו'" עד "והשיבותיך אל האדמה" בפשטות במהרה בימינו ממש!

When the Jewish people firmly declare their desire to “lie upon it” – upon the entire 400 parsa by 400 parsa of Eretz Yisrael – “You will lie down and none will frighten you,” which requires that Hashem “grant peace in the land” – then the nations come crying out that they want peace, and quickly. Because then we have Hashem’s promise that “it will be easy to conquer” like four amos (the seat of the yechidah of the soul). We need only learn from this week’s parshah: even when a Jew sleeps (but as a Jew) – his four amos become Eretz Yisrael, and Hashem “folds” the entire Eretz Yisrael under him, making him owner of it, and bringing peace for his children as well. May it be Hashem’s will that we no longer need to discuss these issues, and that the Jews, having seen that the nations refuse to accept, and having come to their sensing and refusing to make any further concessions, realize that the entire notion of concessions was a mistake, and admit their mistake. And the main thing is to act firmly by “lying upon” the entire Eretz Yisrael. Then we will see the fulfillment of the promise, “The land that you are lying upon, I will give to you and to your descendants,” until “I will bring you back to the land” in the literal sense, speedily in our days.
