Oooooooooh exciting! 🐾 🐿️

A few days after this intriguing find we came across some more sinister descending caterpillars ... these ones appear to have killed the trees as well!

It must be Descension Day! 🦋 I almost walked straight in to these 36 thin threads hanging from a tree, each with tens of caterpillars making their journey from the trees to the ground. A little cameo from Ted who was being really patient. 🐕

No longer hanging out with the other deer. Maybe it's too scary now the young bucks in the other clan are getting playful and wanting to practice their fighting skills! (See https://spectra.video/w/xjpXb3a1Vm4VTNhQU9Q9vd)

Hare movements in the last few weeks. At one point there is a deer lying down looking on (clip dated 9th March, 05.43am).

Sightings of our fabulous (three and) four-legged furry fox friends in the last few weeks. The poor three-legged one gets caught by some bramble at one point!

The latest deer footage from my trail cam includes some young stags play-fighting and a deer laying down observing a hare scamper past.

A few sightings of multiple foxes at the back of the house in the last week or so...
